day five
![]() There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Wake up! Wake up! It's an exciting buy one get one free day for bodies!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the bodies of K and Kaoru Hitachiin. character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 10 PM EST on October 6. Though a special comment for discussion will go up shortly before voting, you are encouraged to discuss who to vote for throughout the day. |

Kaoru Hitachiin
You can look at the bracelet on the corpse - it flashes Kaoru Hitachiin's name and dorm mascot, as well as the words Conversion Buster. Kaoru's corpse is curled up at the side of the boat, a fearful expression on his face. There's a gunshot wound through his heart, and the bottom of the boat has filled with a mix of blood and water from the ride.
Kaoru Hitachiin is no longer among us.]

K
You can look at the bracelet on the corpse - it flashes K's name and dorm mascot, and shows the words Conversion Buster. The body, of course, is of K's robot suit, but by the massive damage caused to the ride and to the suit, it's safe to say that the man inside did not survive the impact.
K is no longer among us.]

PAPER DELIVERY
Season 129, 1st of Kannazuki
Ferris Wheel and Tensions Running High
Mystery detonator and votes kill two pairs of partners
On X the Xth, the park opened to Mr. Kyouya Ootori’s body under the newly-operating ferris wheel. While the ride appears to be fully functional now, not much else seems to be of notice about it other than the view from the top and the fact that Mr. Ootori was apparently killed by falling from such great heights. His was far from the only murder that day as the mysterious ??? role was expanded to reveal that there was, in fact, a hidden non-VIP killer who could detonate victims during the day. He or she then did so and killed Mr. Legion, dooming his partner Miss Toyosatomimi no Miko.
Today’s vote was the grimmest yet, with no clues to go on. But, as Miss Starfire pointed out, not voting was an even greater danger.
With this reasoning in mind, voters scrambled to find the most suspicious person to execute. That person turned out to be Mr. Francis Abernathy, on the basis that he had been in support of Miss Edea rather than Mr. Missile last night. Despite evidence that his partner Miss Nui Harime was innocent, Mr. Abernathy was ultimately and wrongly hung.
We can only hope that we won’t repeat this mistake again.
- Aya Shameimaru.

[Royce stares at the math problem, before he lets out a sigh, folding the newspaper. He would solve it later, in his own time. In his own time...]
...I'll assume, as always, that there was a murder today.

Thoughts? We need to start thinking of votes now to try to avoid a desperate situation like yesterday.

AROUND
Hey, you! [ Yes, you. ] Do you have anything to say about Ibuki? I'm going to defend her in court and need as much evidence to prove her innocence as possible!
[ If the answer is anywhere along the lines of "sure"/"yes", Maya will literally drag them off into a private convo. If you say no, then she won't do that. She supposes. ]

Mess hall, afternoon
Um, excuse me... I feel like there's something that maybe we should talk about? Maybe we don't have enough information to make any solid conclusions, but I think it's worth thinking about. Namely, the VIPs' motivations, and those of the bomber.
I have some theories, but I'm not exactly the most clever guy around, so I kind of want to see if other people are thinking the same thing...
