dreamland day five 26 players remaining. There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Wake up! Wake up! It's an exciting buy one get one free day for bodies!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Even if that's so, I don't believe that Ibuki is guilty in this case. And she deserves a proper defense, so... I'm going to be her lawyer, and give her that. If she lets me.

If she is innocent... I am relying on you.

But with the evidence as it stands... we cannot afford to execute someone else in this case.

After yesterday... it might be better to not execute anyone. If we execute someone innocent, then we're only helping the VIPs.

Giving them a chance to convert helps them as well.

Our "conversion buster" has been killed. There is no avoiding it. It allows the VIPs to strength their numbers, while dwindling ours. And someone will be killed again.

That's true, but converting someone vs someone dying... I'm not sure it really matters, both help them and hurt us. Either way, someone will be dead tomorrow, unless we suddenly find all the VIPs and kill them. Which is sort of unlikely.
