![]() [You wake up in a temporary barracks set up behind an amusement park. The weather is chilly but pleasant, and there aren't any lines for the rides - in fact, it seems you have this place to yourself. The entire park appears to have been abandoned some years ago, and though everything is in working order, it is overgrown with plants and seems rusted and unsafe. As for you, something has happened, though you aren't sure what. There's a throbbing pain in your head, and you can't focus, as though you're coming off heavy pain medications. However you think you should look, you look like a human now. Under the bandages wrapped around your temple, old and smelling like blood, you'll find a recently stitched up scar wound and the inability to focus on your memories. You have no knowledge of how you came to be here; you may even have forgotten certain aspects of your life, or feel confused about them. The fact of your missing memories is obvious, a dark blank spot. Under the bandages around your wrist, you'll find a brightly colored bracelet, decorated with the face of the smiling cartoon animal on your wall, embedded into your flesh. It beeps a merry tune and welcomes you to DreamLand Fun Park. Just then, a voice comes over the loudspeaker.] "Good morning to all of our new guests! The park is now open! We'll get started later, but for now, have a magical day with your new friends! Oh, and there may be a few nasty side effects to your medical condition. If you meet someone having trouble adjusting to reality, please be polite!" [In your room, you'll find a small box containing several personal items - no weapons, magical items, or technology advanced beyond the early 21st century, and nothing dangerous, but otherwise anything you would ordinarily find on your person is there. Of course, nothing with cell reception or internet connectivity can manage to pick up a signal. If you swipe your bracelet against the steel door, it unlocks. You may now explore your accommodations, or venture out into the park.] character statuses setting This is an IC mingle covering the first day! Night roles will go up Monday at 4 PM EST, but you are welcome to continue to thread here once that happens. Make sure to follow any updates on plurk! |

...And that does not concern you.

[the teacup ride... Which, once again, Ibuki was responsible for.]
no subject
[ oz??? gilbert is gonna swoop down from the sky screeching you know ]
no subject
It's hard to say no when someone requests that you ride with them! [He has no excuse.]
no subject
[ he would, no regrets ]
no subject
So I guess you would say no if I wanted to show you some of the better rides?
no subject
[ says the thirteen year old... ]
no subject
[HE'S GONNA DO IT
HE'S GONNA GET CIEL TO RIDE THE TEACUPS.]
no subject
Not in the slightest. I don't see anything enjoyable about deliberately putting myself in danger.
no subject
[let's go for superbarf showdown]
no subject
[ He said "not really", that's a step up from no
go oz
go for the gold ]
no subject
It's fine! If you try it once, you'll definitely like it! There's a ride really close to the place where the clothing is, actually - I could take you there!
no subject
...If I go, will you leave me alone?
[ lemme pour one out for the like 0.5 seconds where ciel thought about pretending to be nice ]
no subject
Yes! [NO.] If you really want to be left alone, I mean.
no subject
[ Ciel seems to consider this, then nods with a dignified expression. ]
Yes, this will do. I'll go on a ride if these are the terms.
no subject
But Oz seems very satisfied with this!!]
Good! I'll make sure to pick one that you'd like. What kind of rides do you think you'd want to try, anyway? [While talking, the station for Pleasant Street is coming into view!]
no subject
[ He shrugs dismissively, and oh yeah, here we come to candyland... ]
I've never even seen anything like this before.
no subject
But that's fine. I'll take you to the one that I know works pretty well! [Oz why...]
no subject
You realize that what you've said is preposterous, don't you? You've never seen any of these death traps either and you decide to partake, really?
no subject
If you're going to be in a place where you can try new things, you should take advantage of it! Who knows when you'll get the chance again?
no subject
[ grandpa "no fun allowed" phantomhive, reporting in ]
no subject
You sound pretty old for your age, you know. [GRANDPA... that said, the train's coming to a stop at the platform now. it brakes sloppily, so the cart jerks forward a bit.]
no subject
Of course I do. I'm a nobleman, so this is how we speak. I received my title when I was young, but that doesn't change the expectations of my station.
no subject
I mean what you say, not how you say it. [Apparently he's not going to mention that he knows how the nobleman training thing goes...]
no subject
[ He tilts his nose slightly into the air, but once again takes Oz's help without complaint, but also without thanking him. ]
I'm mature for my age, I suppose.
