dreamland day three 34 players remaining. There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Rise and shine! Let's have a lot of fun and look for the bodies, too!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. [Royce is not going to be so open with Aya today when he opens the door to see what the news provides - while he takes the newspaper and looks it over, he doesn't greet her like before. Her involvement with the Levi business...well, Royce won't forget something like that.]

Were there any murders today? [He just woke up, so he hasn't had the chance to check the bulletin board yet.]

[His eyes widen at that. But...he realizes what that means, and frowns down at the newspaper.]

They were "buddies", weren't they...

she doesn't offer the names and nothing betrays her reaction to them except for the short answer and her carefully blank face. ]

[He furrows his brows.]

What do you mean, "two"? Were...was this the "buddy" system mentioned in the rulebook? Who are the victims...?

Presumably, yes, they are buddies.

I...see. What a...[Tragedy? Shame?] Where are their bodies located? Have you...seen them yet?

You mean the...ride? With the teacups?

...What was the method of killing? Bludgeoning? Explosion...?

Maybe it was painless.

[He looks confused. The other day, the VIPs had a gun, and used it to shoot their victim in the leg (presumably to keep him from moving), but now? It was making littler sense the more he thought about it.]

I wonder...why do they keep changing the method of murder? For what reason...?

To throw us off? Maybe they take it in turns to attack their victim of choice? Who can say.

Well, it is a group...perhaps each night, one member is responsible for the murder? They do not all murder together...

But it was speculated yesterday that two people--or more--participated in killing Mr. Kuzuryuu.

It was. It would be impossible for one person to hold a gun, and...crush someone's head...

[He lets out a soft "hm".]

...But I assume the bodies were not found together? If you say you only saw Mahiru's body...

Mr. Pines must be elsewhere. I'll look and... take pictures of the scene. [ just. not at the moment. ]

Alright. We will have to find and...investigate. As best as we can.

[He turns to close his door, putting the newspaper under his arm, giving Aya a nod.]
