day two
![]() There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Rise and shine! Let's have a lot of fun today, or at least all of you who are left!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the body of Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu. character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 10 PM EST on September 27. Though a special comment for discussion will go up shortly before voting, you are encouraged to discuss who to vote for throughout the day. |

Legion - you know that it's very likely you will be executed tonight, yes? Do you continue to deny Levi's claims, even so?

[ There's a longer pause, and however slight, it sounds like there's a very small tone of sadness in Legion's mechanical voice. ]
What will you do when this is verified?

[Legion might be legitimately surprised if he's executed and marked as VIP after death.]
But if you die tonight and you are marked as innocent - then I am willing to believe that everything about this game as it is presented is a lie. The detective receives false information, and the VIPs - if they exist - would have no more to do with the deaths than we do. It would not be a game. It would be a slow execution of 42 people by outside forces.

If... [ Legion hesitates, the first time it's done so here ] If it is the first, then it was wise. We are better to have been destroyed. We would have advised as much. We could not return to the Geth with data with this amount of corruption.
But we do not believe this is the case. So instead, we wish organics peace. A slow execution is illogical. We suspect paranoia. We do not wish organics to be overtaken.

Yes... if that's true, then there's no chance of 'success' for us. ...Perhaps that's the goal of the ones who have brought us here, after all.
[...]
I don't wish to believe that to be true, either.
So in some way - even though everything in me speaks against this choice, I... I almost hope Levi is right. ...I'm sorry, Legion.

It is the logical course to prove his word. We do not object.

[She hesitates and seems to want to say more, but -- ]
You're not guilty yet, anyway.
[A long pause.]
Do... Do you want to contribute to the next edition of WARDS? I'm sorry we didn't quite get it right yesterday; it was a little... rushed.

[ Legion answers quickly, but there's a small pause. ]
We would like to write something. We will give it to you when we are finished. It can be published if we are destroyed.

[It is selfish, she knows - extraordinarily so - to want to feel better about this when she has resolved to cast a vote. 'It's the only way', she can tell herself, but... there was much more than just logic.]
It would be my honor.
[She wonders if her feelings will change when Legion is marked for execution and the words 'VIP' flash on his bracelet. It is easier to hate and condemn in the abstract...]

We will deliver it to you once we have finished.
