dreamland day two 40 players remaining. There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Rise and shine! Let's have a lot of fun today, or at least all of you who are left!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. It's what needs to be done. [There's little that can be done to clam him down right now, and Ciel's attempt to point out his flawed logic is only making things worse.]

Instead of questioning me, just answer! And empty your pockets while you're at it--or I'll do it for you.

[cheats]

[ It's easy to see Ciel bristle slightly at the threat, but he does an excellent job (for once) at keeping his temper in check. His stare is level in return. ]

Look at yourself. You're upset over his death, and that's fair, but... Now you're going to threaten us? You're playing right into this game.

[ But that's just what he wants to say first, so then he'll explain his alibi for the day... This isn't murder manor so I'm going to be lazy say he explains where he's been for the day, but it's pretty much the same as everyone else. He's been with the group for the day. ]

[chainjailer]

I'm interrogating you. The only one who's going to get hurt here is the one who's guilty. It's too late to protect Yuya...but it's the least I can do.

[Boring alibi as usual, really.] I said empty your pockets.

[cheats]

No, you're not. You're just being an annoyance.

[ But he'll empty his pockets, since he doesn't want to fight about something so trivial. All that there's are some candy wrappers... ]

Are you satisfied?

[chainjailer]

[He doesn't really care if he's being annoying, that much is pretty obvious.]

Hardly. Yuya's killer is still out there. Do you have any idea who could have done this?

[cheats]

[ Coldly, ] Any of us. That's the point, isn't it?

[chainjailer]

There has to be a way to narrow it down. Someone who didn't know him... They must be the most likely.

[cheats]

Who did know him, really? It's only been a day. Did he have people he knew from his home?

[ His expression is still pretty cold, but his tone isn't. It's clear that this is more a question to help figure out what happened too. ]

[chainjailer]

It seems a few people talked to him, and he'd made some friends...but there's nothing that should have made someone want to kill him. He barely knew anybody at all!

[He's just as baffled as for why Yuya, of all people, was picked.]

[cheats]

And that's my point about why this way of investigating isn't going to get you anywhere. It amounts to the same thing. He was killed for seemingly no reason, so even somewhat that did know him, it was only for a day.

[ He sighs, shaking his head ]

You should step away for a while and calm down, if I am to be frank.

[chainjailer]

You can't know that for sure--there's a chance the killer might slip up or crack under pressure. I won't lose that chance.

I'm not going anywhere until I've finished. [Or until he eventually gets dragged away, whichever comes first.]
