dreamland day two 40 players remaining. There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Rise and shine! Let's have a lot of fun today, or at least all of you who are left!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Well... The detonator would have only had the chance to give out two keys by now, so... [MAYBE THEY'LL BE MORE CAUTIOUS AFTER THIS.] They should be able to figure out who did it, maybe.

But if the whoever's running this thing chose a person that wouldn't mind giving out those keys and then that person gave keys to the VIPs or someone they know will use them, then we're in an even bigger danger.

[harepiece]

...I would hope that they would choose who to hand their keys out to more wisely after this.

[But he knows little else can be done for it.]

Otherwise, we'll need to figure out how to stop them.

[fanbase]

The only way of doing that is if we either get lucky or Levi somehow learns about who they are, but I still think we should focus on finding out who the VIPs are and ending this game as quickly as possible.

[harepiece]

I agree with that. I... want to believe that the detonator and the person who did this meant well. [Even if it turned out not so well.]

[fanbase]

It's really hard to tell with all that's been going on. Malik was pretty obnoxious, but this guy and the other guy weren't like him at all.

[ Besides, Kuzuryuu was fun to tease, but it's not like she did it out of malice. ]

[harepiece]

[He never even spoke to Kazoo but he feels bad for all three victims equally, even if Malik is a douchecanoe.]

Maybe the pattern is that there isn't a pattern?

[fanbase]

Considering how many different people we have killing here... guess that shouldn't come as a big surprise.

[harepiece]

I don't want to think that anyone here would do any of this intentionally, but... seven different opinions would probably lead to something like that.

[fanbase]

Eight if you consider they converted someone and maybe even a couple more if the Detonator gave keys to people who aren't VIPs. Out of forty... thirty-nine of us, that's still a lot.

[harepiece]

[AH YES, the potential conversion. He grimaces and nods again.]

I can't think of any real way to narrow it down, either.

[fanbase]

The detective... if it's Levi or not, might be the only person who's able to do that for us right now. Looking for holes in people's stories hasn't been a big help either.

[harepiece]

[A sigh.]

...There's not much that we can do outside of rely on those people with roles. But if they pull up only innocents, not even they can do much to help. And the best thing that the detonator can do is just... not use their role at all, but without knowing who it is, we can't make sure that they won't.

[fanbase]

It's definitely a mess.

[ She sighs and crosses her arms as she looks down on the ground. Her expression is full of worry and maybe even some sadness. ]

Everything's easier when it's a prank, but this... I can't believe it's even happening.

[harepiece]

[Things would definitely be a hell of a lot easier if this was a prank, true enough.]

Even now, it's difficult to imagine.
