dreamland day two 40 players remaining. There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Rise and shine! Let's have a lot of fun today, or at least all of you who are left!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. This situation... It would be hard to withstand for even those who pride themselves in a heart without a trace of blackness.

[But so soon! She had expected the deaths to start piling up eventually if they didn't put a stop to it quickly, but she had never imagined... the second day.]

Or... Perhaps, by mistake, it was a VIP who received a key.

But the Detonator would know... The Detonator would know who did this. It's only been two days.

Well, I know I wouldn't blow someone up! Not ever.

[ But especially not on day two, wow. ]

Mistake... what if it wasn't a mistake? What if they meant for this to happen, for some reason? I mean, we can't totally trust that the Detonator is on our side, can we? We don't even know who they are.

Levi just suggested that the Detonator might have been converted last night. That...

[Would mean they'd all be gone in like a week.]

It wouldn't be good.

But... are you saying the Detonator might not be on anyone's side? That should be in the rules, shouldn't it?

Converted might make more sense... [ And also be REALLY BAD holy crap. ] But I mean, is there any rule that says a person has to go along with either side? I mean, anyone sane might, but. I don't know. This just seems so random!

I don't understand it, either.

[She shakes her head.]

Another possibility is... that they believed Yuya to be one of the VIPs. Perhaps one of the VIPs pretended to be... one of the buddy cops? And convinced someone they knew had a key to kill Yuya.

[But that's incredibly unlikely! ....This really does make no sense...]

Maybe... Could it have been an accident? We don't know anything about the key. Maybe it was a big button and whoever got it accidentally pressed it without meaning to?

...Somehow, that's any less scary than a rogue bomber for real.
