![]() There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Rise and shine! Let's have a lot of fun today, or at least all of you who are left!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the body of Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu. character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 10 PM EST on September 27. Though a special comment for discussion will go up shortly before voting, you are encouraged to discuss who to vote for throughout the day. |

[What it is that Peko "can't" do, Sheba doesn't know; all she knows is that someone who has just lost someone important to them shouldn't have to do anything. She unfastens her cloak and holds it out to her.]
Here. [She can use it as a handkerchief for herself or as a shroud for Kuzuryuu or anything else she likes, really.]

No. [It's wavery, but she takes a breath and roughly scrubs at her eyes, ignoring the cloak for now.] No, I... I can't close my eyes to this. He would not let me.
[Another breath as she tries to calm down further. It... doesn't really work. She's still crying. But she's forcing herself to look at the body seriously.] He would not have just let himself be killed without a struggle.

[She pulls the cloak back but doesn't put it back on. Instead, she just folds it carefully and holds it close.]
...so whoever did this to him - there must be some proof of it, somewhere on them. The medical supplies we have access to aren't going to be enough to hide it.
[Unless all they do is vote, and someone or something else handles the actual death, but she's not going to say that to Peko. Not when she's grieving.]

[She takes a deep breath to steel herself and looks over his body, avoiding looking at the head for now.
Then--] He was shot.
[She sounds shocked.]
Why would they... why would they use something like a bat if they had a gun...?
[Wipes... tears again oh my god he wasn't killed instantly, he was shot first.]
