![]() There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Rise and shine! Let's have a lot of fun today, or at least all of you who are left!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the body of Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu. character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 10 PM EST on September 27. No, it's no use. Unless...that secret technique used to rescue lost souls. Could it perhaps work on Pekoyama? Okay, he's whispering something into his scarf.]
"Star Destroyer Gray Fox" Sun-D! Once more, I call upon your powers! Cast your spell of disenchantment and preserve those lost souls who sink into the swamp of sadness! Attend to that terrible demon as though you know no fear! Go!
[Okay. Yeah. Well, he will continue standing there and being useless but you can have a little hamster crawling up your back for some attention.]

it's fluffy. It's soft and fluffy. She can just barely tell what it is from this angle, but she manages to figure out that yes, it's a hamster.
What a scary intense swordswoman, bawling her eyes out like a child. Every single animal should be afraid right now.]
Tanaka...

Yes, indeed. The Dark Gods recognize you as their comrade. We are united as allies in this battle, bound by the need to avenge what should never have been lost. No longer are they capable of hesitation in their hearts.
That is the meaning of Sun-D's words, the ones only I can hear.

[It takes a second to figure out exactly what he's saying here, but after a moment, she manages a nod. Her fingers are still cautiously gentle in Sun-D's fur, but she's not doing anything weird... for once. She's still just looking down at Kuzuryuu's body; his chest, more accurately, since she can't bring herself to look at the remains of his face.]
Thank... [and she trails off without finishing it, choking back another wave of tears. God, this is embarrassing, but she really doesn't care about that right now.]

It is no matter. Those are just...the feelings of the Dark Gods.
[And that's about all he can do, so he'll just hover nearby (since he won't leave Sun-D in case she started chanting again or something).]

[No worry, Sun-D, she's not about to start chanting. She can't. The secret chant sounds like a lie, now.
Peko just kind of curls up a little more, one hand on Sun-D, the other clutching Kuzuryuu's hand.]
I... later. We need to talk. The class.
[That's all she can manage before she's seized with a fresh wave of tears that she has to fight back, wiping her eyes against her shoulder rather than let go of either of the precious things in her hands.]
