![]() There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Rise and shine! Let's have a lot of fun today, or at least all of you who are left!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the body of Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu. character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 10 PM EST on September 27. What theories would these be?

Either way, this does seem to suggest he may be the detective...I'll have to see what he says today. If there is a murder, and we vote Legion...and if Legion is truly what Levi says he is, we need to protect Levi. We need to keep him safe.
no subject
It appears the VIP haven't chosen to attack him today, at the very least.
no subject
The only we can prove what he is...is, well, executing Legion. Which seems to be a very extreme method of proof, but...what else can we do? We have his word, nothing more...
no subject
It's sad, but that's the only method of confirmation we have. The VIP are clearly playing the game. If the rest of us don't, we'll lose.
no subject
...That's upsetting. [He sighs.] Yes, we need to act, and...quickly. Before further murders can occur. We need to stop it all. End this...pathetic game...

You remind me of a reporter from back home. She...she, too, had something like a "once-in-a-lifetime" story.
...I may not be a reporter myself, but...I can respect those who have the profession. It is a more risky job than one might think.
no subject
Like I said, I'm used to the risk.
If I could ask, what's your friend's story? [ but she doesn't take out her notebook just yet. ]
no subject
Ah. [He blinks.] She actually wasn't...well, a friend. I mean, I did have a colleague who was a journalist, he was very good, very good at his job, but...I'm afraid I only knew the one I am, ah, referring to through her stories. She was a good news reporter, from what I read...
[He had to admire her dedication, even up to...even up to...]
[...He doesn't want to think about it.]
no subject
I see, you didn't know her in person. But there's definitely a lot one can learn from a reporter's writing style. [ for instance, that Aya has no shame and iffy quality control. but SHE TRIES. mostly. ]
no subject
[He looks a little vacant. Just remembering Cloudbank and the people there...well, it was hard. Very hard, indeed.]
no subject
What events was she reporting on? [ aand the notebook comes out again. she had to admit, Royce's world definitely sounded like an intriguing one. ]
no subject
[He drifts off, his deer-like gaze turned towards the ground.]
...All sorts of things.

[He is silent for a while, tapping his long fingers against the sleeves of his coat.]
[Finally, he lets out a sigh, turning away from Aya to close the door of his room behind him. He places the newspaper in the crook of his armpit - he'll read it as he walks to wherever the scene of the crime is. No time to waste.]
I think it's time to investigate the...murder. And find Levi. [A slight nod of the head.] Good day, Aya. Thank you for...the newspaper.
no subject
You're welcome. Let's both continue to do our best and find out as much as we can.

[And he's off. Time to get to the bottom of all of this.]
