day one - afternoon

dreamland day one 41 players remaining. [As the day wears on into the afternoon, the dead aren't getting any deader. It's late in the afternoon, and the air is beginning to cool, when the chimes play again over the park loudspeaker. "All of us here at Dreamland wish you luck, guests! Let's meet up in the Hall of Mirrors!" Wherever you are, it's time to make your way over to the House of Horrors, where you'll have to brave the funhouse to find the room on the top floor. Don't delay, or your guest identification bracelet will begin beeping. The House of Mirrors is a large room, more than capable of fitting a crowd. Tall mirrors line every wall, and the door you entered through seems to vanish into a mirror as well. The mirrors give the impression that many, many more are among your number, standing in the background. In the back is a jar filled with blank raffle tickets. You'll have to take a ticket, write down a name, and place it back in the jar. Guys! Are we voting for no one today? We should probably come to a definite consensus about it before we go back to talking about other stuff.

We could... But then we'd never know for sure. If this is the real detective or not. I mean, it would be nice to have verification.

I don't think we can possibly vote for someone when we really don't know anything more than we did before. Unless some new evidence comes up, best bet is no one.

That's what it seems like everyone's saying, and I agree for today--but maybe we should think about what kind of information we would trust, too.

I'm voting no one. Execution isn't going to tell us any more about who's responsible for setting this up or why the VIPs are obediently playing along.

...But then again, the risk that Legion is innocent, and the note may be a ruse created specially to execute said innocent...I would rather we not vote at all. Not until, well, we have more information.

If we vote for him and are wrong, we'll kill an innocent person - maybe two, if he has a partner. If...we were right, it would confirm the detective role, though.

Like everyone else seems to think, I...don't think we know enough right now to kill him.

Laaaa~me, this whole thing seems totally rigged in the VIPs' favor. I mean, it's the first round and there are 41 of us alive, how are we supposed to guess out of that many people? [ scoffing ]

I'm concerned we're veering down a dangerous path. Allowing the killers to convert might cost us one of the people who can help us, and will cost us our ability to trust that person.

But what other choice is there?

If we vote for anyone now it'll just be a shot in the dark. Either blindly trusting whoever printed that note in the paper or just . . . guessing.

There's no way I can cast a vote based on something that flimsy.

I don't think we should really vote anyone yet. It's way too early and there's not enough evidence to back anything up.

Without being able to verify if the note is real or not, I cannot even think of voting for someone based on it. No one deserves to have their life gambled away just like that.

I will vote for no one as well. Even if Legion is a VIP, we need more time to investigate the matter.

I'm with pretty much everyone else. To vote for Legion based on this alone...it just doesn't make any sense. But there's no evidence that implicates anyone else in particular...with all that in mind, there's way too much at stake for me to throw someone's name out.
