day one - afternoon
![]() [As the day wears on into the afternoon, the dead aren't getting any deader. It's late in the afternoon, and the air is beginning to cool, when the chimes play again over the park loudspeaker. "All of us here at Dreamland wish you luck, guests! Let's meet up in the Hall of Mirrors!" Wherever you are, it's time to make your way over to the House of Horrors, where you'll have to brave the funhouse to find the room on the top floor. Don't delay, or your guest identification bracelet will begin beeping. The House of Mirrors is a large room, more than capable of fitting a crowd. Tall mirrors line every wall, and the door you entered through seems to vanish into a mirror as well. The mirrors give the impression that many, many more are among your number, standing in the background. In the back is a jar filled with blank raffle tickets. You'll have to take a ticket, write down a name, and place it back in the jar. Hopefully you already know who you're voting for, but if not, you only have time for a brief discussion before you're out of time. character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 10 PM EST on Sept 24. |

[He starts counting off on his hand]
One: The note was sent by VIPs, wanting to make everyone lynch Legion so they could kill two innocents in one day. There's seven of them versus thirty-five of us, of course they'd want to knock our number down as quick as possible.
Two: The note was sent by the actual detective. Which I still find hard to believe, but there's no real way to prove that it's not true.
Three: The note was sent by a normal guest or maybe even by the guy who's running this entire thing, to make everyone confused and make the game more interesting? [Which is a theory that makes him grossed out tbh]
And finally, my last theory is that it was written by Aya herself. No one's brought it up yet I think, but I think she could've done it to make her "newspaper" catch the eye of everyone else! [Using air quotes while he said the word "newspaper".]
I'd like to hear everyone's opinions on these theories though. And if you have any clues or information about anything, don't hesitate to speak up!

The guy running this thing... Do you think he could just be messing around with us? [She didn't consider that one]

But something like this wouldn't get us to turn against each other, right? [That being said with a small nervous laugh]

[No, just kidding]
We're all thinking pretty carefully... so no, it's not working.

[ So in Legion's view, they might as well all be true... ]

I still don't think it's true, no matter what the theory is. [He rubs the back of his head awkwardly]
And uh, sorry you've been accused like this, man. Also sorry we haven't met yet, because apparently you're my brother now and I didn't even know until today?

[ since he got a sticker... no jk Legion was curious though ]
We are interested to learn from you as well, Dipper-Brother.

[ The flaps around its head shift, giving the impression that Legion might be curious ]
We thank you for integration.

This guy's probably someone really messed up, and thinks it's funny when people are scared or something.

The timeframe is what gets me the most, though. There's such a small window for them to give it to her, how could anyone have sent it without getting caught?

Yeah, that's definitely a possibility...

What a hoax of a newspaper that would be.]
