![]() There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Looks like it's time to get started after all! To all our guests, have a magical morning! Dream big and have fun, but don't forget to look for the body! We'll see you in the afternoon at the Hall of Mirrors when it's time to vote, okay?" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the body of Malik Ishtar. character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 10 PM EST on Sept 24. Though a special comment for discussion will go up shortly before voting, you are encouraged to discuss who to vote for throughout the day. |

All right! I'll try to... bring him closer. [and he will do so!!]
...I can't believe that anyone would have done this.

[ Not that he talked to Malik at all, but. HARSH... ]

It's— too cruel. But it could have been an accident, right? If it was someone the Detonator gave a key to? [Which still doesn't explain how the body got out here or the multiple other injuries buT...]
no subject
[ THAT WOULD BE HORRIBLE but also seems hella unlikely ]
no subject
They might have been given the key and used it to try catching a killer, but... [THAT'D BE DANGEROUS. He'd like to think no one here would be reckless enough to gamble a life on a hunch.] ...It looks like he has multiple injuries, too.
no subject
[ IS THIS WHAT THEY HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO........ ]
no subject
I don't know... I've never seen anyone— [Get blown up??] ...But his arm looks kind of weird, doesn't it?
no subject
[ ............NOT SURE IF WANT TO EXAMINE MORE CLOSELY AFTER ALL ]
no subject
Something like that might have happened. It doesn't look like it did before, anyway, and I don't think this is the result of an explosion either. ...Are you all right?
no subject
[ BRAVE...FACE? ]
If there's anyone with first aid skills...maybe they'll be able to tell us a little more about this, right? We should ask around...
no subject
Right— Legion knows some first-aid things, but... [THERE'S THE PAPER, which he's not sure he trusts.] I didn't really talk to anyone else yesterday about injuries, so I don't know who might be able to handle it.
no subject
[ NO ONE ELSE seems to have those skills profile wise though... ]
no subject
[He's not sure he wants to subject her to a superdead body, though...]
no subject
[ HE'S TERRIFYING IN THE MORNINGS. ]
But, I can come find Oz-chan and tell him what Kyo-chan says later, if need be?

Does that mean only the Detonator's friend played along? Or do you think the medical team already managed to protect somebody?
no subject
I'm not sure... If they protected somebody, how would this happen, though?
no subject
Are we guessing one person is more likely to get hysterical than seven people? I don't believe that.
So then if the detonator did help kill somebody, and the VIPs did try to kill somebody, then somebody must have been protected.
no subject
Right... So - looking at it like that, it really seems a lot less likely that it's someone the detonator contacted. [It had been a last ditch hope, anyway, pinning this as an accident rather than an intentional occurrence.]
no subject
I really think... this had to be those people. Wanting to get rid of their most bloodthirsty enemy, who wouldn't be protected.
no subject
...I guess it's a definite possibility. I just... I don't want to think that anyone here would do something like this intentionally.
no subject
[Even if someone got whipped up like Teruteru... there was still an idea that another person had to end up dead. Mahiru really ought not to get hella sad.]
Even if you struggled with someone, you'd be singed too... but nobody here is. They would have cl- [choking on the disgusting concept] -cleaned up.

...They really don't want to get caught. [Which, duh. But it's a pretty unhappy realization after how hard Oz had tried to rationalize the game away just a day earlier.]
no subject
[Maybe it's game rules. Mahiru doubts it's an Egyptian ritual]
