dreamland day two 40 players remaining. There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Rise and shine! Let's have a lot of fun today, or at least all of you who are left!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. [As soon as Kurapika heard the explosion he ran towards the source, stopping in his tracks when he saw who it was. He could feel a thick weight settle in his chest.]

Yuya--! [He rushed the rest of the way over and crouched down by the body, but there was nothing he could do. Yuya was beyond saving, and Kurapika's shoulders were shaking with rage.

Whoever did this was going to pay.]

[shortcutter]

[A hand falls on his shoulder.]

This makes me sick.

…I'm sorry. I couldn't do anything.

[chainjailer]

[Deep breathes, Kurapika. He can feel his temper slipping and knows that his eyes must be scarlet again, but he'll just keep his head down so hopefully Levi won't see.]

In the middle of the day...why?! He wasn't a VIP...

[Just keep taking deep breathes.]

[shortcutter]

[Even if he does catch a glimpse, Levi doesn't react. He's seen much weirder things.]

I don't have an answer. Nothing but shitty speculation, anyway.

[chainjailer]

I'm going to find out.

[Kurapika stands, and...well, he has the subtle air of someone who's just went off the deep end.]

Whoever did it, I'll get it out of them.

[Levi drops his hand.]

[Apparently this is his idea of force.]

I see.

Don't get yourself killed.

[chainjailer]

I'm not dying until I take the VIPs down, and whoever killed Yuya.

[And he's off with a vengeance.]

[Levi will keep watch over the body in the meantime. If Kurapika doesn't show up again for an hour or two, he'll carry it to the lake, somewhere near Malik's grave, and start digging. He assumes Kurapika will eventually show up to help.]

[chainjailer]

[Kurapika will be late, but he'll definitely show-up to help once he's cooled off from his interrogation rampage.

He brings Sigma to help again. This seems like it's going to start becoming an unfortunately depressing habit.]
