dreamland day six 22 players remaining. There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Good morning! Get up and get searching!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the bodies of Sigma and Kurapika. rulebook character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 10 PM EST on October 8. Bulletin Board

[As promised, the electronic bulletin board near the main train station has a copy of the rulebook, as well as the following notice: ]

Good morning! As of today, there are 22 players remaining. 2 VIPs have been killed. There has been 1 opportunity for conversion. The following guest roles are still alive:

Detective: Every night, will learn the alignment (guest or special guest) of one player. Will also be alerted whenever there's a successful conversion.

Buddy Cops: Meet at night. Every night, chooses one player to learn the alignment of. Will learn the alignment of that player. If one buddy cop is killed, the other may be able to survive one more day before dying, and cannot be saved. If one buddy cop is converted, they will still attend cop meetings, but their vote will technically not count.

Medical Team: Meet at night. Every night, choose one player to protect from being killed. If a protected player's buddy dies that night, they will survive. If one of the medical team dies, the other may be able to survive one more night before dying. Cannot protect themselves.

Detonator: Meets at night. Chooses one player to receive a key that can, at any time, detonate another player's guest identification bracelet and kill them.

???: Can kill once during the day.

This morning, Sigma and Kurapika are dead. That's all! Have a fun filled day!

Kurapika

[Take your time getting ready in the morning, but eventually you won't have any choice but to look for a body. As you wander around the park, you're likely to see the other mystery ride is on and moving. It looks like there's someone in there riding, though you can press a button to have the ride come to a stop.

You can look at the bracelet on the corpse - it flashes Kurapika's name and dorm mascot, but shows nothing else. Kurapika has a gunshot wound in his leg. He's battered and bruised all over, and the inside of the cage of the ride he's being held in has been splattered with blood. His neck is broken.

Kurapika is no longer among us.]

Sigma

[Take your time getting ready in the morning, but eventually you won't have any choice but to look for a body. As you wander around the park, you're likely to see the lights on the circus tent are lit up. Propped up outside the tent is a body.

You can look at the bracelet on the corpse - it flashes Sigma's name and dorm mascot, but shows nothing else. Sigma's body is in awful shape; broken and damaged badly. It looks as though he was run over by some kind of car, and you may notice blood splatter on the roller coaster tracks and gore on the front of the one the cars today if you happen to ride.

Sigma is no longer among us.]

Circus

[The circus seems to be open today! You can go inside. Inside, you'll find a pretty paltry three ring circus. There are trapezes in the air, props, supplies for pyrotechnics. There are a few enormous cages containing animals - a lion and tiger, an old elephant, a grizzly bear. The animals are all dead; they look thin and sickly as though they had become ill, and they seem to have been dead and in the process of decomposing for some months now.

Stockpiled in the center of the room is a huge crate filled with what look like military weapons: explosives, machine guns, even small missiles. But if you approach the crate, your bracelet will beep.]

Buddy Cops Take Action
Second guilty VIP identified, remains convinced of own innocence

' We are the buddy cops. We apologize if our having kept particularly quiet has made some of you think we haven't been acting to help all of you; we have refused to publish our results because of concerns that revealing definite innocent people would 1) make them good conversion targets and 2) make them people the VIPs might target because they would be unable to get them lynched. '

This message heartens those of us worried about the buddy cops’ absence thus far, while disheartening friends and classmates of Miss Ibuki Mioda, accused VIP. Despite being backed by friends and acting lawyer Miss Maya Fey, photographic evidence won out over her word and memory and Miss Ibuki was set for execution.

It’s noted that, like Miss Edea before her, Miss Ibuki appears to have been entirely convinced that she never took part in any murders, though bodies continue to appear daily on park premises. Today’s victims are Princess Anna of Arendelle, from the bomber, and Mr. K and Mr. Kaoru Hitachiin, from the VIP. As the latter two are conversion busters, we can only expect to see executions continue and hope that they will go as relatively straightforwardly as today’s.

We can only speculate as to whether we can eliminate all the VIP or find a way to break their apparent brainwashing before they outnumber the rest of us instead.

Clash has her arms on the table, forehead placed upon them. There isn't any food placed before her. The paper is haphazardly tossed to the side and open to the obituary page. ]

[Sheba is staring at the note from "the VIPs" with a puzzled expression on her face. She's not grabbed any food yet, but she does have some water sitting beside her copy of the paper.]

You'd think by now they'd have realized we're probably not going to listen to them. [Unless they get really desperate...] Does this strike anyone else as strange?

((I'll try to be around as much as I can but replies will probably be slow/short because I'm at work all day today! I'm sorry))

[ She lifts her head to look at her with a quizzical look. There seems to be something she wants to say, but she goes against it. She sits up straight, look at the paper. ]

Fine... I'll have toast or something. If I get hungry later I'll just grab a hotdog.

[ And Ciel is probably hovering somewhere nearby, hoping Sheba makes him food... This child needs help. ]

Wishful thinking, perhaps? They do seem to not be right in the head, so who really knows, at this point?

Maybe they want to divert suspicion, or they're afraid the killer will attack one of them sooner or later and think it's in our best interest to get rid of them.

[Well that is apparently what Sheba was waiting for, because when she sees Ciel she gets to her feet and picks up the paper and the water bottle.]

Edea and Ibuki said they hadn't killed anyone... maybe they really do think they're helping us after all. [That would explain the "helpful" note.] What do you want to eat today, Ciel?

... Will you be okay? [ it's a pretty dumb question, but Aya's definitely terrible at this trying to comfort people thing, if that's even what she's doing. ]

That's a little weird, though, isn't it? We still outnumber them, so the bomber has more of a chance of getting one of us. [A mystery...] But diverting suspicion... That makes sense. Especially if neither the detective nor the buddy cops has any more clues, giving us a name to be suspicious of keeps them from getting accidentally lynched if we choose someone at random today.

It's possible, I suppose. Yet still, there's something odd about it, like you said... Why Simon, of all people?

[ He sighs with a shrug, but then looks at Sheba with a softer expression, since he's at least getting better at expressing being thankful. Ish. ]

A fried egg, perhaps? [ DO THEY HAVE EGGS... I do not know but neither would Ciel so it's okay ]

[ Clash thinks about that question for a moment and nods. She forces her best smile, though it looks pretty convincing. ]

Yeah, I'll be fine. It's not like I'm gonna give up on getting out of here, you know? That's what a Misfit would do.

That's what Ibuki would want too.

What I find strange is the fact that the VIP are apparently getting clues at night. Clues for what? The roles for normal guests?

Yeah, he sort of seems like too much of a wuss to be blowing people up...

A fried egg shouldn't be too hard, if they have any. [THE SEARCH FOR EGGS BEGINS ciel will probably be disappointed though.] If they don't have that, what else do you want?

I hope not. [Sheba makes a face.] They already know who's innocent and who's guilty, and they're getting special privileges aside from that. The game would definitely have to be rigged if they're getting clues like that, too.

Let's not give up on finding a way out and a way to help the VIP snap out of it, if they're truly clueless about what they're doing. I'm sure everyone would prefer to do that than execute them all.
