dreamland day six 22 players remaining. There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Good morning! Get up and get searching!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. [Sheba is staring at the note from "the VIPs" with a puzzled expression on her face. She's not grabbed any food yet, but she does have some water sitting beside her copy of the paper.]

You'd think by now they'd have realized we're probably not going to listen to them. [Unless they get really desperate...] Does this strike anyone else as strange?

[Well that is apparently what Sheba was waiting for, because when she sees Ciel she gets to her feet and picks up the paper and the water bottle.]

Edea and Ibuki said they hadn't killed anyone... maybe they really do think they're helping us after all. [That would explain the "helpful" note.] What do you want to eat today, Ciel?

[ He sighs with a shrug, but then looks at Sheba with a softer expression, since he's at least getting better at expressing being thankful. Ish. ]

A fried egg shouldn't be too hard, if they have any. [THE SEARCH FOR EGGS BEGINS ciel will probably be disappointed though.] If they don't have that, what else do you want?

Er... Oz has been making me oatmeal, but I'm a bit tired of that. What else is there, exactly?

I remember seeing a can of something called "SPAM".

[CASUALLY FEEDS CIEL SPAM FOR BREAKFAST. It's going to happen, I double-checked to make sure it's there and everything.]

It looked like some kind of meat, maybe like bacon or sausage. Do you want to try it?

Maybe they want to divert suspicion, or they're afraid the killer will attack one of them sooner or later and think it's in our best interest to get rid of them.

That's a little weird, though, isn't it? We still outnumber them, so the bomber has more of a chance of getting one of us. [A mystery...] But diverting suspicion... That makes sense. Especially if neither the detective nor the buddy cops has any more clues, giving us a name to be suspicious of keeps them from getting accidentally lynched if we choose someone at random today.

What I find strange is the fact that the VIP are apparently getting clues at night. Clues for what? The roles for normal guests?

I hope not. [Sheba makes a face.] They already know who's innocent and who's guilty, and they're getting special privileges aside from that. The game would definitely have to be rigged if they're getting clues like that, too.

Why would the VIPs send that? It's not like the bomber's picked off any of them, so they don't have much to worry about. Wouldn't they think the bomber's doing them a favor?

Unless the actual bomber sent that in to avoid suspicion? Or someone's just trying to mess with us?

If someone is messing with us, I'm gonna find out who and I'll really let them have it!

Seriously. If they're an innocent person, do they just want it to backfire on all of us or what?

It'd make sense if they did it a few days ago, but now? After what's been going on? What are they gonna gain from that?

If we do execute Simon and he turns out to be innocent, we'll doubt anything that gets published. It'll be harder to communicate when people with roles do help us, and anyone who carries messages where everyone can see will become a target.

But aren't we doubting it already? Even the buddy cops know that we'd doubt things unless there was a video like the one we saw yesterday. We've already made a bunch of mistakes and most of us agreed that we wouldn't do them again.

It just seems like a lame attempt at trying to get us to vote for him. Why can't they choose him and why would they try to get us to eliminate him if he's possibly done nothing but help them?

What's strange about it is that they've sent this note in at all when none of their number has been targeted by the bomber.
