dreamland day two

39 players remaining.

[As the day wears on into the afternoon, the dead aren't getting any deader. It's late in the afternoon, and the air is beginning to cool, when the chimes play again over the park loudspeaker.
"All of us here at Dreamland wish you luck, guests! Let's meet up in the Hall of Mirrors!"

Wherever you are, it's time to make your way over to the House of Horrors, where you'll have to brave the funhouse to find the room on the top floor. Don't delay, or your guest identification bracelet will begin beeping. The House of Mirrors is a large room, more than capable of fitting a crowd. Tall mirrors line every wall, and the door you entered through seems to vanish into a mirror as well. The mirrors give the impression that many, many more are among your number, standing in the background.

In the back is a jar filled with blank raffle tickets. You'll have to take a ticket, write down a name, and place it back in the jar. Hopefully you already know who you're voting for, but if not, you only have time for a brief discussion before you're out of time.

Misguided? Who, exactly, were you all going to vote for if you hadn't exposed me, or if I hadn't come forward in the first place? Or were all of you going to continue floundering like cowards?

Shut up.

You shut up right now! How dare you assume us to be cowards? We are not soldiers like you, but you have no right to mislead us like that! No right to say we cannot kill when the time comes to protect our own lives. I promise you that I will willingly kill someone who tries to kill me, so don't you dare act like I am afraid!

Really? Well, let's see.

[Levi spreads his arms.]

You're convinced that I'm a burden? Then kill me right now. I won't stop you. Do it, then vote for Legion and see what happens.

Come on. You care about protecting these people, don't you? Just take a few steps forward and snap my neck. That's all it will take. Or are you really just a fucking coward who does nothing but talk?

...No. I will not do that, because if I did we would have to vote for someone else and there have been enough corpses today for anyone's tastes.

But I will take no grief in your death, VIP or not. Your arrogance is your downfall.

Then use that bulbous head for a second.

Why didn't the real detective out me? Or the person who sent the actual note? Why didn't Legion bother to defend himself after I made my accusation? The real detective knows that Legion is a VIP — why else would he have let me continue doing what I was doing? If we was scared Legion was innocent, why would he allow it?

The real detective is a dog who cannot speak to us. He only managed to communicate to us today and he doesn't seem to have any information on Legion.

As for Legion himself...if what Aya is saying is true, we still don't know who sent that message if not you. But you have still hindered us and I cannot accept that. I'm sorry, but it seems everyone has made up their minds as well.
