dreamland day two 40 players remaining. There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Rise and shine! Let's have a lot of fun today, or at least all of you who are left!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. It's what needs to be done. [There's little that can be done to clam him down right now, and Ciel's attempt to point out his flawed logic is only making things worse.]

Right, there's no point in going around and making everyone feel like they're a total enemy just because they won't answer a dumb question. It's not gonna get us anywhere at all and we'll just end up the same way we did yesterday, then there'll be another conversion.

[He probably would at this rate. He was already beginning to feel sick from being this upset for this long.]

[That's fine, but he sees you over there checking Mitsukuni. If Kurapika steps one toe over the line with him, Mori plans to knock his ass out.

...He's kind of wondering if someone shouldn't do that anyway. Just gonna hover in the area and leer intimidatingly.]

[Inside his pockets you'll find a useless cell phone, some tickets, and a handful of empty candy wrappers.]

[If Kuzuryuu's ghost is still hanging around, hopefully he's happy to see how upset Peko is. Because otherwise there would just be no point.

She stiffens when Missile rests his head on her knee and just gives him a shocked look. Puppy... why...

She's careful about it, reaching with one hand to try to pet his head. Her other hand is occupied holding Kuzuryuu's, after all, and she isn't letting go of that any time soon. It's probably a surprisingly gentle touch -- she ducks her head and bites her lip, her hand just resting atop Missile's head. Maybe she's thinking about what Kuzuryuu would think, to see her sitting with a fluffy animal like this. Who knows.]

It's not a waste of time. It may be a stretch, but if the detonator can at least tell us who they gave the key to, then we can question that person and ask them why they did it. They have to be either VIP or someone who thought Sakaki was one. It should be either or.

...What do you mean? You think- they killed Sakaki, just out of a random pick?!

[chainjailer]

[He's just barely containing his temper.]

[ It's easy to see Ciel bristle slightly at the threat, but he does an excellent job (for once) at keeping his temper in check. His stare is level in return. ]

Look at yourself. You're upset over his death, and that's fair, but... Now you're going to threaten us? You're playing right into this game.

[ But that's just what he wants to say first, so then he'll explain his alibi for the day... This isn't murder manor so I'm going to be lazy say he explains where he's been for the day, but it's pretty much the same as everyone else. He's been with the group for the day. ]

Kurapika, please. No one has an alibi for this crime. The only person who could tell you who set it off is the person who gave the key to begin with - the Detonator.

[ Natalia is over by the balloon darts game, not doing bad for herself. As expected of a master of royal archery!!

But the ding of huge success catches her attention. ]

My, you certainly picked the right game. [ There's only a faint smile because getting tickets seems to pale in comparison to finding yet another corpse. ]

[chainjailer]

[Kurapika checks him thoroughly, pulling back once he's satisfied.]

Clean. Then I've already heard all I need.

[perfectstrike]

[Smart boy, keeping his goggles on. Peko's glasses don't hide anything, and even if she were, it would probably just look ridiculous. Goggles filled with tears as snot runs down her face. She's not exactly at her most attractive right now.]

Th...

[Peko knows what people usually say in response to things like this; she'd say it herself, if she were in Yuyu's place. But it sounds hollow, and she can't bring herself to say it. Instead, she just nods, a little brokenly, both of her hands clutching one of Kuzuryuu's.]

If... if you have any... any information... [she manages quietly. Brokenly.] Please...

I'm not going to encourage your threatening others. [ Where'd the flowers go... ] I have no problem emptying my pockets or answering questions, but this isn't the way to go about it.

[ Mostly peeved that Kurapika is behaving so badly towards the younger crowd too, tbh. Even if he's only sixteen, it's still a little... ]

Until you calm down, I don't think you should proceed with this investigation of yours.

[ She rolls her eyes and complies because she doesn't have time for this and wants it to be over. Clash reaches into the inner pockets of her her lime green jacket and shows that there's nothing there. Then she pats down the pockets of her pants before turning the pockets out to show...
