day one - afternoon

dreamland day one 41 players remaining. [As the day wears on into the afternoon, the dead aren't getting any deader. It's late in the afternoon, and the air is beginning to cool, when the chimes play again over the park loudspeaker. "All of us here at Dreamland wish you luck, guests! Let's meet up in the Hall of Mirrors!" Wherever you are, it's time to make your way over to the House of Horrors, where you'll have to brave the funhouse to find the room on the top floor. Don't delay, or your guest identification bracelet will begin beeping. The House of Mirrors is a large room, more than capable of fitting a crowd. Tall mirrors line every wall, and the door you entered through seems to vanish into a mirror as well. The mirrors give the impression that many, many more are among your number, standing in the background. In the back is a jar filled with blank raffle tickets. You'll have to take a ticket, write down a name, and place it back in the jar. I'm not saying the detective needs to reveal themselves. [That's waaay too dangerous and she wouldn't want anyone to risk themselves like that] I'm saying they need to find a way to get the information to us.

And just because the VIPs don't know who the detective is doesn't mean they're safe. What if the detective gets killed anyway?

If the detective can find a regular guest during their investigation, then surely they can confide in them without worrying about being revealed.

[ That is, as long as that person isn't converted... ]

That means voting every day. I don't know if people would be willing to do that if we didn't have something to go on.

We need to find out what the detective and the buddy cops find out.

We have a detective, and we have the buddy cops. Between them and those of us who have no wish to execute an innocent, I don't believe we can't figure out who these VIPs are!

Why wouldn't they help us? It's for their sake as well.

They don't have to show themselves directly to that person, just leave a note.

If they came forward the medical team would probably protect them, but... Then, if anything happened to them, the detective would be a sitting duck.

...this game isn't fun at all. Are they breaking their own rules if they keep us from having fun?

Right.... the medical team and the conversion team could protect the detective if they knew who it was. [Not that it's not risky, but there's no way out of this that isn't risky]

It's a game run by a bunch of sickos, the only ones having fun are them. [SIGHS....]

...we're just going to have to risk someone getting converted, I think. No matter how I look at it, that note isn't good enough evidence.

We'd know for sure that it was real if we killed him and got to vote for an MVP, but I don't want to risk a life on a possibility.

Yeah... I don't want to risk someone innocent dying, bucket of bolts or not. [That's still a risk of conversion, though it may not happen - or work - she doesn't know how it works, either]
