dreamland day one 41 players remaining. [As the day wears on into the afternoon, the dead aren't getting any deader. It's late in the afternoon, and the air is beginning to cool, when the chimes play again over the park loudspeaker. "All of us here at Dreamland wish you luck, guests! Let's meet up in the Hall of Mirrors!" Wherever you are, it's time to make your way over to the House of Horrors, where you'll have to brave the funhouse to find the room on the top floor. Don't delay, or your guest identification bracelet will begin beeping. The House of Mirrors is a large room, more than capable of fitting a crowd. Tall mirrors line every wall, and the door you entered through seems to vanish into a mirror as well. The mirrors give the impression that many, many more are among your number, standing in the background. In the back is a jar filled with blank raffle tickets. You'll have to take a ticket, write down a name, and place it back in the jar. Well, we're literally always gonna outnumber the VIPs until they beat us... so barring some magical proof, we are gonna have less than even odds.

But Edea-chan... are you still thinking that we should just let them convert all of us to ensure survival? Because that sudden death round clause... really makes me think it isn't that safe.

To tell the truth... I'm also afraid. I have so much to lose if I die here - there's so much at stake. But even so... to take an innocent life would weigh on me even more heavily. I... I don't know if I can ever truly vote for an innocent, even if it would save myself.

It's okay... it... it's a good thing that you don't want to be involved, right? We're good people... we have to hang on to that and want to do right by others. But... if we want to protect everyone else, too... we have a really short time to wait.

I think, too, that's what they may be counting on. That we'll lose our focus and give in to panic, and then the deaths will truly begin in earnest.

Well... they're probably... able to convert whoever they want, according to the rules... So that means whatever method of control they have, the ringleaders must think it's real airtight.

We definitely have to... not kill each other independently... with this many strangers that panic's a real cause for alarm... but we're not going to do it if we can help it, right?
