day one - afternoon

dreamland day one 41 players remaining. [As the day wears on into the afternoon, the dead aren't getting any deader. It's late in the afternoon, and the air is beginning to cool, when the chimes play again over the park loudspeaker. "All of us here at Dreamland wish you luck, guests! Let's meet up in the Hall of Mirrors!" Wherever you are, it's time to make your way over to the House of Horrors, where you'll have to brave the funhouse to find the room on the top floor. Don't delay, or your guest identification bracelet will begin beeping. The House of Mirrors is a large room, more than capable of fitting a crowd. Tall mirrors line every wall, and the door you entered through seems to vanish into a mirror as well. The mirrors give the impression that many, many more are among your number, standing in the background. In the back is a jar filled with blank raffle tickets. You'll have to take a ticket, write down a name, and place it back in the jar. I can't imagine who else would lie about this, at least so early on. Don't we all just want to get home?

It is dreadful. I think the mold has been making me sick—but, anyway, doesn't that seem like a bit of a stretch?

"The Detective found out who a VIP is on the first day and gave the clue to that shady press girl". "The creepy killer jerks sent that clue to get Legion killed instead of trying to go for a conversion". "Someone else sent that clue to make sure we voted and there couldn't be a conversion." All of those things are a stretch.

... You're right. [ And now he just looks miserable. ] Maybe whoever owns this place is trying to create dissension in the ranks.

There's no way to know for sure what's going on unless we find out who sent it....

[And she seriously doubts that person is going to come clean]

Maybe if we make a very heartfelt plea.

I meant someone in general. Preferably one of the children. How old are you?

Oh~ Don't you know it's rude to ask a lady her age?

[She's thirteen!]

Oh, my apologies. [ His mother would berate him for that, so he has to give it to her. ] It only seems that you can pass for a much younger woman, and probably garner sympathy to our cause.
