dreamland day one 41 players remaining. There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Looks like it's time to get started after all! To all our guests, have a magical morning! Dream big and have fun, but don't forget to look for the body! We'll see you in the afternoon at the Hall of Mirrors when it's time to vote, okay?" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Ugh, this just doesn't make sense! How are we supposed to figure it out?

[ Clash stares at nothing in particular with her eyebrows furrowed. She guesses there's only one way to investigate this. ]

I might have an idea... Come with me to the Snake dorms.

[ She doesn't even wait for an answer, she just starts walking that way. ]

[ionicwoman]

Ohhh! Wait for me!

[Trails after!]

[fanbase]

[ When they reach it, Clash heads for her room (which is properly marked, in her eyes, #1). Before the scans to open it, she turns to Anise. ]

Listen up! When the door closes, listen for my cymbals. They sound like this.

[ She clashes her wrist cymbals together. They echo loudly throughout the dorm as they're especially hard not to hear. ]

When you hear them, tell me. Got it?

[Anise keeps up pretty easily, and waits outside the door]

Right! Got it!

[fanbase]

[ She opens the door with her bracelet, steps in, and closes it behind her. Clash meanders around for thirty seconds before she decides to clang her cymbals together and waits for a response. ]

[ionicwoman]

[Nope... she hears nothing at all]

[fanbase]

[ Clash waits... and waits. She yells the loudest she can. ]

Hey! [ She clashes her cymbals together again. ] Can you hear this at all?

[ionicwoman]

[SILENCE INTENSIFIES]

[fanbase]

[ The final test, it's time for her... to sing! Thankfully the walls of her room are soundproof, because if Anise heard her then she would have blackmail against her for life with how terrible she sounds. ]

[ Clash decides now is a good time to open the door after performing the proper amount of tests. She almost expects for Anise to have ditched her, but no... she's still there. ]

You didn't hear anything, did you?

[ionicwoman]

Not a single thing! ♪ That's pretty weird, isn't it?

[fanbase]

I knew it! I knew it!

[ Clash jumps around and bangs her cymbals together a couple of times. Once she is finished reveling in that moment, she grins down at Anise. ]

We didn't hear anything last night because our rooms are soundproof!

[ionicwoman]

[WOW HER EARS.... Anise seems to be digesting this information, too]

So it really could have happened anywhere... They could have dragged him kicking and screaming...

[fanbase]

They could have done all kinds of stuff to him and very, very few people would know.

Even the medical team, detective, and buddy cops would know it was too late to stop it. Considering how they're all probably in separate places too, they might not have even heard it in the first place.

[ionicwoman]

[POUTS] Boo, that makes everything even more complicated! How are we supposed to find out who did it now?

[fanbase]

There might be some other leads too. Like that thing about Legion in the newspaper or something we haven't found yet. Still, I think knowing the rooms are soundproof might be a good thing to remember.

[ionicwoman]

Hmph! I don't trust that "detective"! I think they're just trying to make trouble.

[Yeah, that's a good thing to keep in mind] Oooh, if only we could lay a trap for the killers or something...

[fanbase]

It's totally fishy, I don't think the real detective would be that obvious unless they're beyond stupid.

That's exactly what we should do! Whoever took part in this... we can make them slip up somewhere. Wether it's one person or seven, they're gonna make a mistake somehow... and I think I have a great idea of how to figure it out.

[ionicwoman]

No way! And to a girl like that, who's stalking everyone for pictures? It's fake! It's gotta be fake.

[Setting a trap would be best... but what materials do they even have?] You do?

[fanbase]

Uh, her article about the rockstar is actually true. [ She grins. ] But it's weird to me too. That hint doesn't make any sense at all.

The one way to get someone to mess up is their story having holes and figuring out where those holes are. We've just gotta figure out how to do that.

[ionicwoman]

Well, duh, you wouldn't let her off the hook if she messed that up~ ♪

Holes.... So we investigate everything everyone says?

You're right, I definitely wouldn't let her live it down. She'd be as embarrassed as my cousin Video is whenever I show her up!

That might be too much for how much time we have, but we can find a way to narrow it down. At least to an amount that will help us figure out the way.
