![]() There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Looks like it's time to get started after all! To all our guests, have a magical morning! Dream big and have fun, but don't forget to look for the body! We'll see you in the afternoon at the Hall of Mirrors when it's time to vote, okay?" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the body of Malik Ishtar. character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 10 PM EST on Sept 24. Though a special comment for discussion will go up shortly before voting, you are encouraged to discuss who to vote for throughout the day. |

Malik wouldn't have been protected because he didn't put himself out there at all and whoever he really ticked off might have be the owner of that key.

I mean, yes, he was obviously rude and unpleasant and generally all-around nasty [thanks edea] but to murder someone because of that? It's unpardonable, no matter what his personality was!

For all we know, it might not even be a big deal and the VIPs could have totally done this, but it's still something we should look into.

[Malik probably wasn't one of them.]
The point is, that kind of hearsay will get us into trouble. We can't choose people to execute or anything just because we think they had a fight with Malik. ...Especially since I think most of his interactions were fights.

[ She sounds so smug and haughty when she says that; perhaps she is one of those misunderstood grumpy people. ]
At least if we find them, we can try to talk to them first. Nobody said we had to vote for them.

[ Maybe whoever "they" are would go along with it? ]

But if you're searching for quarrels, he was a very vocal detractor of Miko's plan last night. His suggestion that we remove the dog's leg was met with ill reception by many, too - myself included.
