![]() There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Looks like it's time to get started after all! To all our guests, have a magical morning! Dream big and have fun, but don't forget to look for the body! We'll see you in the afternoon at the Hall of Mirrors when it's time to vote, okay?" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the body of Malik Ishtar. character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 10 PM EST on Sept 24. Though a special comment for discussion will go up shortly before voting, you are encouraged to discuss who to vote for throughout the day. |

Then how are we supposed to find any killers?! This game is stacked against us!
[She seems to notice the newspaper for the first time.]
What is this supposed to be? Bun...bun...?
[The thought of 'buns' makes her stomach growl. A little bit.]

[Edea begins to skim through briefly, pausing when she gets to the end.]
...Is that a picture of me in the candy shop?
[It is. She's elbow-deep in toffee.]
You made forty-two copies of this in one night?!
no subject
I'd write a hundred copies if I had to! [ ... she actually looks kinda exhausted but shh. ]

[Aya is ruining her reputation before she's even got one! For all that she desperately wants to investigate, she needs to look for more besmirchments to her honor as a knight. Edea will read through again a little more slowly, not sure whether or not to be impressed.]
...You should really focus more on condemning the work of these villains. Something about how the VIPs should just give themselves up now so we can all focus on the true enemy. I'll supply an editorial tom --
Wait, what?
'Legion is a VIP'?! Who sent this?!
no subject
An anonymous source sent it in, of course. Hopefully the detective, but who can say? I'll definitely look forward to your contribution, miss!

No! It's a ploy! The detective can identify 'special guests' - that doesn't mean it's just VIPs. We discussed this last night!
To put it in such black and white terms... Someone is truly trying to make a game out of this. You cannot treat human life with such disdain. All accusations must be made with as much gravity as would be considered in a court of law!
[Edea probably doesn't know yet that Legion is a robot, but. Oh well.]

And hopefully you can bring that point up in the discussion today, if the detective is unaware.
