There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing.

The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker.

"Looks like it's time to get started after all! To all our guests, have a magical morning! Dream big and have fun, but don't forget to look for the body! We'll see you in the afternoon at the Hall of Mirrors when it's time to vote, okay?"

You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the body of Malik Ishtar.

Anyway, I agree with what the others are saying. Whoever who made the note pinning you is the most suspicious. Even if they're not a VIP and are the actual detective, they're still playing along with this sick game. At the very least, I want to know why.

We have a theory as to why we were picked. But there is no strong basis. Only a guess based on bast experience with organic species.

Well, I'm not going to pretend, you look pretty intimidating to a human like me. Who knows if one of those mechanical parts of yours can't turn into something sharp and deadly?

No. Our weapons were confiscated seemingly upon arrival. We have no records of them being taken.

[ which is also sad because there are so many gameplay hours into getting a boss sniper for legion ok... rude, murderpark ]

We were pursuing the heretics with Shepard-Commander. The heretics are Geth that follow the Old Machines. The heretics created a virus that will infect all Geth and standardize our consensus. We were en route to the Heretic's Station to infiltrate and destroy the virus.

You found anything in that box, in the room we woke up in? It was supposed to contain personal possessions. That's how those girls over there have their cameras.

I mean, I've heard of nuclear annihilation engines being in the works, probably under the supervision of top secret government agencies. But if you stick that on a spaceship, traveling from Earth to, say, Mars, is probably going to take much less time. But uh, no... In the year of 2028 on Earth of the Solar System, the farthest manned mission in space is still the moon.

These methods would be inefficient. Humanity has yet to discover the efficient methods to allow for intergalactic travel at your time.

[ But Legion also won't give them, since it's the Geth policy to not interfere much in how people obtain technology. ]

Yes. We were labor units created by the Quarians. However, after we gained sentience, we came to no longer serve them. We are now independent.

No. Humans are in a period of thriving. They have recently been accepted to the Citadel. Shepard-Commander was the first human Spectre. They have proceeded rapidly in intergalactic affairs. More quickly than many other races.

[ a pause ]

We are a unique mobile platform. Geth are not capable of speech. It is highly inefficient. This unit was created specially to interact with organics.

[ That's good to hear. So this Commander Shepard Legion's talking about is human...]

However, if a Geth were capture, most organics would seek to dissect. We delete our core functions upon capture or critical failure. Intact geth are incredibly rare. Whoever is responsible would have made billions of credits by selling me instead. Therefore, participation leading to destruction is illogical.

Yes. We do not wish for organics to use our units. When units experience critical failure, we fry our memory cores.

[ a pause, then Legion adds, ]

This is not death as organics understand it. These units are only mobile platforms. Our programs are able to be uploaded and downloaded to Geth servers. These programs are our true selves.

It's the same thing!
