![]() There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Looks like it's time to get started after all! To all our guests, have a magical morning! Dream big and have fun, but don't forget to look for the body! We'll see you in the afternoon at the Hall of Mirrors when it's time to vote, okay?" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the body of Malik Ishtar. character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 10 PM EST on Sept 24. Though a special comment for discussion will go up shortly before voting, you are encouraged to discuss who to vote for throughout the day. |

I don't want to kill an innocent person either, especially since there's nothing to say we won't accidentally end up killing one of our own assets. Or somebody in a pair. But eventually, it's going to get to a point where we can't really afford to not vote.

[ do
they have an idea other than randomly lynch someone if so please share people ]

[Well they can always...take a chance and not vote. It's still early.]

[ Un...fortunately, it would be super nice to know who isn't trying to kill them. :| ]

[ HE'S...ACTUALLY NOT DISAGREEING, especially when the lives of some of the people most important to him in the entire world are at stake here, bro. ]
It'd be one thing if no deaths had occurred last night. Now that one has, it's obvious at least one or more people are taking this seriously...ne? Usa-chan thinks that means we have to take it seriously, too!
no subject
[He nods.]
We do. It's unfortunate, especially if the VIPs are being blackmailed, but we can't afford not to take it seriously too. Though if we can find a way to stop it without playing along with the rules...that'd be fuckin' fantastic. [But it does not sound like his hopes are high in that regard...]

If we could figure out a way to stop them being blackmailed, wouldn't that be the best outcome? Or if we could talk to them...there's almost definitely a way for them to win without killing a single person more, right?
[ He sounds uncertain, though. If they're willing to kill, they...probably wouldn't take that way? ]
no subject
If there was a way for them to manage that, they wouldn't have killed Ishtar. And unfortunately, I doubt any of us will be able to talk to them. They've got the same problems ass the assets and pairs. Coming forward likely means death. If not from us, then possibly from the people who want to be sure they play along...

Since the ways we can end the game are by VIPs outnumbering us or killing all of them, the way to win with a minimal loss of life...would be from now on to have no one kill anyone, and to allow them to convert each night, right?
[ ... ]
Ummmm, although I'm not sure how likely that is, ne? I can't say, since I don't know what's being held over the VIPs.

That...
[Is a very glaring loophole that didn't even occur to him.]
...there's no way. There's no way they'd go to all this trouble and then forget to cover their asses on a technicality like that. There's gotta be something in the way the VIPs are set up to prevent this from ending with only one death...
no subject
[ HE'D JUST LIKE IT IF WE COULD LIKE. maybe not kill anyone else, and that seems...like a way to try it... ]
no subject
But... there's nothing in the rules that says they can't convert and kill someone each night, is there?
no subject
no subject
I'd think they'd like the sound of that-- I mean, I can't imagine anyone wanting to kill us all off, "VIP" or not.
no subject
[ Since they were entertaining the idea of blackmail... ]

[But yeah, this is a pretty crappy situation. No matter what, it could be bad. Execute someone innocent... or give the VIPs a chance to convert somebody] We need more evidence. That's no way to tell like this.
