We can't vote blindly, or we won't be any better than the VIPs who killed Ishtar today. All we have to go off of right now is the detective's note against you, and something about it doesn't quite fit. It might not be a fake, but I don't think it's entirely accurate. The rules state a detective will learn the alliance of a guest, not their exact role.
