It's late in the afternoon, and the air is beginning to cool, when the chimes play again over the park loudspeaker. "All of us here at Dreamland wish you luck, guests! Let's meet up in the Hall of Mirrors!" Wherever you are, it's time to make your way over to the House of Horrors, where you'll have to brave the funhouse to find the room on the top floor. Don't delay, or your guest identification bracelet will begin beeping. The House of Mirrors is a large room, more than capable of fitting a crowd. Tall mirrors line every wall, and the door you entered through seems to vanish into a mirror as well. The mirrors give the impression that many, many more are among your number, standing in the background. In the back is a jar filled with blank raffle tickets. You'll have to take a ticket, write down a name, and place it back in the jar. Since when? [He was pretty much MIA after his little interrogation disaster, so he missed her discussion that popped up shortly after.]

Since the moment nobody came forward to contest Levi's claim as detective.

[Kurapika knits his brow with uncertainty.]

...You're right. We have to take the only lead we have. If we don't, we'll never be able to move forward.

Then there is nothing else to fret over. We know what the end result will be.

We can't be sure until it happens. [He clenches his fists.]

I just hope this is the right decision.

Whether Legion is innocent or guilty, it is the right decision. It's the only way to truly verify Levi's identity, and that identity is our greatest weapon.

[chainjailer]

At the very least it will verify the detectives notes, whether they were Levi's or not.

[He closes his eyes, letting out a sigh.]

You have a good head on your shoulders. Have you considered trying to lead this group?

[chainjailer]

I don't think having one leader for all of us is a good idea--just as I say day one. But, ah... Thank you.

I was afraid I'd turned most of you against me after the interrogations.

We can't! If we just give up, take the easy way out and don't give this murder any thought, we could miss our chance to figure out who these two VIPs are!

If...if Levi really is right, then we can always choose Legion later, can't we...? Or in the event we can't figure it out...

But we need to at least try!

We don't have any other clues. If we don't vote tonight, another person will be converted. We can't let that happen.

There's a strong chance Legion is one of them, so we can at least prevent them from growing this way.

[ineptus]

We have plenty of clues! You just have to look at the crime correctly! Like the fact that he has gunshot wounds, but whoever had the gun chose to shoot him in the leg rather than kill him. Wouldn't it be easier to shoot him dead? Why would they do that?

I'm not saying we don't have to vote tonight, but...I just don't think we should without looking at this first...

I have to agree.

In the end, we might not come to any worthwhile conclusion, but we have several hours to make some more sense of what had happened. Sitting in silence contemplating Legion's fate isn't a good use of our time - even if we agree to vote for him now, we should at least give it some thought.

[a slight pause]

Although... I believe Legion is the only person said to use guns.

[chainjailer]

Natalia also knows archery but...that's a stretch. I just checked the profiles, and the only one that mentioned guns was Legion's.

Archery is... very different from gunmanship.

[Coming from someone who knows some archery as well.]

Although the fact of the matter is, some of us come from places where there aren't guns - or they're exceedingly rare. I've never even seen one before the ones in the carnival.

[ And like a true archer, she's offended by the comparison. ]

Guns are nothing like archery! Archery requires skill - strength and precision. One must be aware of your surroundings, applying the right amount of strength and aim while taking into account many other factors. You don't simply point and shoot!

[ineptus]

It says Belgium can use a lot of different weapons. And you don't have to be experienced with a gun to use one...I can shoot a grappling hook really well, I'm sure I could probably shoot a gun too, and I'm only twelve!

[chainjailer]

[Kurapika sighs and nods his head, pulling up the profiles.]

If they were using a gun to take him down first, they likely didn't have any hand-to-hand combat experience and instead were proficient with guns or simply found that was the best they could manage...

That gives us Ibuki, Constance, Oz, Royce, Ciel, ...the dog..., Francis, Charles, Maya, Simon, Mahiru, Natalia, Kenny, Kyouya, Gundam, Legion, Kaoru, you, Aya, Anna, Sigma, Dipper, and Tamaki.

Mabel, what would you have us do? We cannot keep voting to not lynch. The VIPs will overtake us through inaction alone. If we are certain to some degree that Legion is a VIP, then we must take action immediately.

But if you're all so certain, can't you wait until we give this some thought? It's not like if we don't vote right this second, we can't still vote later...we have time to discuss the crime first at least!

[It just doesn't sit right with her to kill someone who may not have anything to do with the murder, even if he may be a VIP.]

Yes, we should discuss the issue about Fuyuhiko and Yuya's deaths that much is certain. But we also have a VIP that we can eliminate in addition to that. The two things are not mutually exclusive Mabel.
