dreamland day two

40 players remaining.

There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing.

The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker.

"Rise and shine! Let's have a lot of fun today, or at least all of you who are left!"

You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the body of Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu.

[Actually doing...the crossword puzzle at lunch. He's clearly still missing quite a few answers, though, and is tapping his pen against the paper thoughtfully.]
photonement: Raising pointer finger and speaking with a smile (Delight)

[Since it's lunch her mood is rather subdued with Kuzuryuu's death and the traumatizing Dangan Huddle and all but she perks up a little bit seeing him take it seriously. Sits down nearby] I'm glad someone's filling that out. Those squares are such a pain to draw. Want any help or you doing all by yourself?
glasshole: (pleasant | it's really nothing)

[Yeah, it's clearly not a great day to be from Hope's Peak. But he smiles.]

I would prefer to solve it on my own, but a few of these questions are a little specific.
photonement: One eye closed and speaking with a small frown (Resignation)

Which ones? It's really not fair -- Ibuki-chan's gotta get more practice -- so just let me know your reasoning and I'll see what I can do. You might be smart enough not to interchange 7 and 10 but you have to be careful about how to interpret the character limit.

Oh, I have seven and ten, though the former gave me a little pause. I'm lucky enough to be appearing here off ten, after all.

I'm afraid I don't know much about Miss Mioda's band.
photonement: Looking away and pointing another way (Thoughtful)

They had a kind of flash in the pan thing, to be honest.

[She clears her throat and then sings (in a mediocre voice) a few bars from the chorus of much more famous and suspiciously similar band White Berry's most classic song.]

The summer that we spent with them, is now like a faraway dre~eam...

Is that the sort of music she writes, then?

[Well, he's not interested because he cares. He just wants to solve the crossword.]

The kind of music they wrote, yeah. So... it's a name that fits a band like that pretty closely.
