day seven - afternoon
![]() [As the day wears on into the afternoon, the dead aren't getting any deader. It's late in the afternoon, and the air is beginning to cool, when the chimes play again over the park loudspeaker. "All of us here at Dreamland wish you luck, guests! Let's meet up in the Hall of Mirrors!" Wherever you are, it's time to make your way over to the House of Horrors, where you'll have to brave the funhouse to find the room on the top floor. Don't delay, or your guest identification bracelet will begin beeping. The House of Mirrors is a large room, more than capable of fitting a crowd. Tall mirrors line every wall, and the door you entered through seems to vanish into a mirror as well. The mirrors give the impression that many, many more are among your number, standing in the background. In the back is a jar filled with blank raffle tickets. You'll have to take a ticket, write down a name, and place it back in the jar. Hopefully you already know who you're voting for, but if not, you only have time for a brief discussion before you're out of time. character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 10 PM EST on October 10. |

The whole point is that I didn't choose who to kill and I still can't choose who to kill. It'd be like the VIPs having the choice to kill whoever they want during the day.

Way to sound like the 10 year old you are.

You're a coward.

I cannot forgive a single one of the people who are responsible for Fuyuhiko's death. Even indirectly.

[Silence. Then, coolly,]
Nothing can change that. Nothing will. The person who is most at fault... is myself.
And yet, before I can do anything, I will see his killers hang.
[The implication being that Clash doesn't even deserve that much... wow... rude...]

Because if there's anything I know, it's that killing those people didn't make me feel any better about myself. Even if I can't remember it. If you think I'm going to stand here and act proud for what I've done then... maybe I am a coward for not doing that, but at least I'm trying to stop myself from it happening to anyone else.
You're just trying to justify your own feelings when you know it won't make you feel any better.

Don't even attempt to label your feelings as anything close to my own.

[ If it was earlier, it would have come out intentionally cruel. Now it comes out soft and not pitiful, but compassionate. ]
