dreamland day six 20 players remaining. [As the day wears on into the afternoon, the dead aren't getting any deader. It's late in the afternoon, and the air is beginning to cool, when the chimes play again over the park loudspeaker. "All of us here at Dreamland wish you luck, guests! Let's meet up in the Hall of Mirrors!" Wherever you are, it's time to make your way over to the House of Horrors, where you'll have to brave the funhouse to find the room on the top floor. Don't delay, or your guest identification bracelet will begin beeping. The House of Mirrors is a large room, more than capable of fitting a crowd. Tall mirrors line every wall, and the door you entered through seems to vanish into a mirror as well. The mirrors give the impression that many, many more are among your number, standing in the background. In the back is a jar filled with blank raffle tickets. You'll have to take a ticket, write down a name, and place it back in the jar. And who do you suggest I name? If I do it without evidence, everyone will harp on me for repeating Francis and Nui's demise.

Do you think your disdain for our methods will save your life? Or do you value not being harped on more than your own existence?

Fight for your life. The only way to do that is to persuade us to vote for another. Or perhaps you may hope idly salvation will come, but that is no different than throwing your life away.

[sunshade]

[ a shallow, bitter laugh ] Why don't we be honest, here: if no one has a better suggestion, you are all going to lynch me regardless of my innocence. I have none. If I'm going to die, I'm not going to die a fool. Do not idly claim to think I will throw my life away, boy.

[godwhisperer]

I will claim whatever appears to me to be the case. If you won't name an alternative, you refuse to make the only argument that could save you, and therefore you abandon your life. But there is no more I can do about it.

[sunshade]

Did you hear absolutely nothing that just came out of my mouth? [ if anything, her responses become more incensed. ] There is no goddamned argument at this point!

Would you prefer I make a baseless claim? Fine. Go investigate the man with the monkey over there. [ jabbing a finger in Simon's direction ] Oh, sure, the anonymous note in the paper is much too obvious. Surely it couldn't be true, someone is trying to frame him. Unless, of course, he sent it in himself, in hopes that reverse psychology would work!

[godwhisperer]

Very well. I did not wish to cast my vote for you, but if no alternative presents itself, I will.
