[Mabel, before saying anything, takes off her sweater and ties it around her waist. Don't worry, Kuzuryuu, she has a tank top on underneath! But both arms, top and bottom up to her shoulders, are covered in math and she holds them out for him to see.]

Okay so. According to Dipper's math and theories, based on our circumstances alone, there's a good chance we might be in China! Since, from the last we remember, we went to bed around 2AM and then woke up here around probably 6AM? So that was either four hours - which would mean we were the very last people they kidnapped and we were still in the USA, which seems kind of unlikely - or twenty hours ahead! We figure, from the way the signs are translated in so many languages, we're probably in some country that's big on tourism, right? So yeah, probably China.

[ineptus]

[From there, she puts her hands on her hips.]

Now, we were theorizing about why we'd be in a place like China. One theory we came up with was maybe some accident happened here! Some really big accident that got the whole park shut down, but one guest or a group of guests got mad over it! Like maybe they got hurt but didn't get any compensation, and so that's why they kidnapped us all and are making us kill each other!

[Here she pauses, looking a little conflicted before speaking the next part slowly.]

And um...the other one is that...maybe the Chinese mafia is involved? But I mean, what would the Chinese mafia want with a bunch of people like us, right?

[Kuzuryuu, she's only half looking to you for a 'yeah they wouldn't want me for anything' type answer because they definitely don't want you for anything right Kuzuryuu? Moving on.]

Sooo that's just a ridiculous theory, haha.

Buuuut that's all we've got right now. I think tomorrow we're going to go check out the perimeters and the rides, see if there are any hints to how we got here or if we can leave!

You know I'm Japanese, not Chinese, right? Just because I'm yakuza doesn't mean I've got any ties to China's organized crime syndicates. You don't have to give me that fucking look.

Anyway...that's not a half bad theory, there's just one problem: you can't trust your own memories. [He points to the stylish head wound on his forehead that he has no way of covering up since his hair is cut so short.] Remember? Just because the last thing you remember was going to bed at 2am, doesn't mean that was the last thing you actually did. My classmates and I have already noticed time discrepancies ranging from a matter of days to a matter of weeks between the last things we all remember. None of us are on the same goddamn page.

[Or well...Kuzuryuu has noticed this. Some of the others IBUKI apparently have not.]

Chances are, some of us forgot more than just how we were brought here when they cut us open and started fuckin' around up there. [Or at least, this is his theory to explain canon points. It's probably not actually true. He's also under the impression that they might all be dead BUT HE IS NOT GOING TO SHARE THAT THEORY WITHOUT MORE EVIDENCE because that would definitely start a panic and people are already panicked enough.]

Still though, that's not to say you're entirely wrong. But your theory as it stands is too narrow, which is understandable considering you made it from a single shared viewpoint. Who knows how many days have actually passed since we were brought here. Considering how spread out we all seem to be in that regard, it's possible we could have been unconscious for several days before they finally dumped us here.

But that's good! That's good yeah. So that was definitely just a dumb theory. But again yeah we're probably not in China anyway in the end.

Well no, like I said. That doesn't necessarily prove that it's wrong. Just that you can't use time alone to figure out where we are. Your point about tourism is still a good one. I wasn't trying to convince you that we're not in China, just that there are more factors you need to consider.

[Making a note to tell Dipper to ask other people about their memory discrepancies. Also maybe their locations before waking up here??]

Well that's the whole point of cooperating now, isn't it? The more you talk to other people, the more information you'll get, and the better you can fit the pieces together.

Okay then. So you know our wake up information, would you mind telling me when you remember going to bed? And maybe where you were? I can start asking people stuff like that and write it all down...and that'll definitely help!

Yeah sure, I don't mind. I don't really remember the exact time though...musta been somewhere around eleven o'clock maybe? There was kind of a lot going on, I wasn't really paying attention to the clock. [There was an explosion in the hotel lobby...THANKS KOMAEDA.] As for the where...ever heard of a place called Jabberwock Island? It's somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, but I haven't got a damn clue where, myself.

Though I'll tell you now, in case you're thinking about starting some kinda poll here: not everyone's gonna remember going to bed as the last thing they did.

Jabberwock Island...I don't think I have? [Just going to chew on the end of her pen, trying to think if she's ever heard of an island called that.]

I've heard of the Jabberwocky! But that's not an island. And if they don't remember going to bed, does that mean they were kidnapped when they were awake...?

Jabberwock...y? What's that? [Pretend you're surprised he's never read Alice in Wonderland.] This is definitely an island though. Or well...a cluster of six islands, technically. It's a tourist spot, apparently.

But no, not necessarily, remember what I just said? Our memories have been tampered with. Technically, none of us know for sure what we were doing when we were kidnapped or when it actually happened. And it's not exactly hard to knock somebody unconscious and kidnap them.

[May or may not be speaking from first hand experience here. From both sides of the equation, honestly.]
