42 players remaining.

[Once the announcements are over, there's no further response from the voice over the intercom. The afternoon wears on, demanding nothing more of you. The park will remain open until late in the evening, when the fireworks go off, but you can always go back earlier.

In fact, it might be wise to gather your fellow players and discuss what you've learned in the mess hall.]

This is a mingle following the plot revelations yesterday! Characters can gather in the mess hall and discuss what they've learned and make plans. Night will go up at the same time, and this post will be backdated.

As a group, our first actions should be to gather as much information about this area and each other. We should establish what tools we have available, what areas are best avoided, and who among us have the most dangerous talents.

If the rules of the game allow it, I would like to establish a night watch to ensure that nobody is sneaking off to commit murder after the sun sets.

The first comment has merit. We should pool resources and discuss what we can accomplish. Although...it occurs to me that drawing attention to potentially skilled players...don't you think it's possible that they would become targets as a result?

And as for the night watch plan, I'm not optimistic such an elaborate scheme could be thwarted so easily. Ah! I'm only speaking hypothetically, of course. I'm fully in agreement with others that the supposed killers may listen to reason.
shoutoku_administrator: You're wong (And that's why I'm right)

All hypothetical, of course. As for the skilled individuals, I believe it safe to consider that they already are targets.
glasshole: (pleasant | time to slash the budget)

Well, it can't hurt to be prepared for the worst case.

In any case, I do see the point of those objecting to a single leader. But I'm inclined to find your suggestions trustworthy enough. I'll leave it to others to debate whether we want a leader, but if there's any way I can help carrying out precautions or compiling information, I'm glad to assist.
shoutoku_administrator: (Let's pretend I didn't hear that)

I almost feel like they oppose the idea of having a leader more than they oppose actually being led.
glasshole: (pleasant | the shoujo rose budget is up)

I'm not sure how much credit it does you to dismiss everyone's concerns. But as for me, it doesn't matter one way or the other. I only want whatever is going to be most effective at preventing violence.

Oh, I didn't mean to dismiss their concerns at all. In the end, this group may hold together more readily without anyone taking command.
glasshole: (curious | so that's how it turned out)

You'll have to forgive people for being unwilling to trust here. It's a shame, of course.
shoutoku_administrator: (I'm listening)

Indeed, it seems that trust is going to be in short supply moving forward.
