dreamland day zero

42 players remaining.

[Once the announcements are over, there's no further response from the voice over the intercom. The afternoon wears on, demanding nothing more of you. The park will remain open until late in the evening, when the fireworks go off, but you can always go back earlier.

In fact, it might be wise to gather your fellow players and discuss what you've learned in the mess hall.]

This is a mingle following the plot revelations yesterday! Characters can gather in the mess hall and discuss what they've learned and make plans. Night will go up at the same time, and this post will be backdated.

Yes, working as a team would be for the best! If we are all involved in making decisions, we can ensure that we take the safest actions. There are a lot of us, so it may take some time to decide, but we should all have a say.

There are definitely a huge number of us, so if any one person or group of people decide to lead us astray, we should outnumber them, but...

I do think we should all have a say, yeah. Still, I can't say I'm against the idea of having at least a group of people to look to, in case there's any sort of infighting...

That being said, that runs the risk of having a VIP, or even a group of VIPs, in that leader category, so...ugh, this is confusing...

If we all work together and we all voice our own opinions, then it will be easier to tell if someone is trying to get us to make a decision that will only benefit them. But if we have only one leader or only a few people who act as a council, then how will we know where their ideas come from? Are they their ideas, or did someone go to them privately and ask them to consider it?

This is not something I have needed to worry about with a team before... I do not like it.

That's right, but still, there are so many of us that there are probably going to be a lot of consenting opinions, I think...there really is no easy way to go about doing this. Just the idea of having to be distrustful of everyone...it really pains me.

[Anna knows there are people out there who shouldn't be trusted, no matter how trustworthy they seem at first. But still...]

...I know what you mean.

[She wishes her friends were here. She can trust them - each and every one of them. She would like to be able to trust everyone here, too.]

We should do our best to trust in each other. This game only works if those of us who are playing let it... so if we all believe that everyone else will keep their word, then we can all safely keep our word.

Precisely. At the very least, we can share responsibility of incorrect actions, rather than piling all the fault onto one singular leader who may have had the best intentions.
