You're forgetting the parts where I established a centralized government and constitution during my reign. I was quite successful as a politician, even if I failed as an immortal.

Success in politics or not, you still almost killed yourself! I am not putting my life into the hands of someone who once thought ingesting mercury sulfide would make them live forever.
