dreamland day zero

42 players remaining.

[Once the announcements are over, there's no further response from the voice over the intercom. The afternoon wears on, demanding nothing more of you. The park will remain open until late in the evening, when the fireworks go off, but you can always go back earlier.

In fact, it might be wise to gather your fellow players and discuss what you've learned in the mess hall.]

This is a mingle following the plot revelations yesterday! Characters can gather in the mess hall and discuss what they've learned and make plans. Night will go up at the same time, and this post will be backdated.

The detectives have the most important role of any of us. The idea of anonymous notes sounds pretty dumb when you think about it at first - anyone could mess around with it, and we'd never know.

But even with a stream of steady fake notes, I think with the passage of time, we'd be able to determine who was genuinely providing information if they provided an identifying detail. It's like solving a puzzle. Of A, B, C, and D, only one has told the truth every time over the course of 5 days.

I'm not entirely opposed to the idea.

At the very least, it forces their hand. We could learn things from how the seven deal with the messages. Right now we're completely in the dark when it comes to the thought process they're using… obviously, since nothing's happened yet.

If you think about it, though, the only way we can verify anything is by voting. Trial and error isn't practical when the price for failing is an innocent life.

Urgh...

[She hadn't thought about it, no.]

That's one thing I cannot do. To take the life of an innocent would paint us just as black - on both sides, there would be those who have murdered in the name of this 'game'.

...I'm afraid I don't know how the detective can truly convey any information to us, then.
