![]() [You wake up in a temporary barracks set up behind an amusement park. The weather is chilly but pleasant, and there aren't any lines for the rides - in fact, it seems you have this place to yourself. The entire park appears to have been abandoned some years ago, and though everything is in working order, it is overgrown with plants and seems rusted and unsafe. As for you, something has happened, though you aren't sure what. There's a throbbing pain in your head, and you can't focus, as though you're coming off heavy pain medications. However you think you should look, you look like a human now. Under the bandages wrapped around your temple, old and smelling like blood, you'll find a recently stitched up scar wound and the inability to focus on your memories. You have no knowledge of how you came to be here; you may even have forgotten certain aspects of your life, or feel confused about them. The fact of your missing memories is obvious, a dark blank spot. Under the bandages around your wrist, you'll find a brightly colored bracelet, decorated with the face of the smiling cartoon animal on your wall, embedded into your flesh. It beeps a merry tune and welcomes you to DreamLand Fun Park. Just then, a voice comes over the loudspeaker.] "Good morning to all of our new guests! The park is now open! We'll get started later, but for now, have a magical day with your new friends! Oh, and there may be a few nasty side effects to your medical condition. If you meet someone having trouble adjusting to reality, please be polite!" [In your room, you'll find a small box containing several personal items - no weapons, magical items, or technology advanced beyond the early 21st century, and nothing dangerous, but otherwise anything you would ordinarily find on your person is there. Of course, nothing with cell reception or internet connectivity can manage to pick up a signal. If you swipe your bracelet against the steel door, it unlocks. You may now explore your accommodations, or venture out into the park.] character statuses setting This is an IC mingle covering the first day! Night roles will go up Monday at 4 PM EST, but you are welcome to continue to thread here once that happens. Make sure to follow any updates on plurk! |

[Suddenly standing nearby, taking some notes. It's unclear how long he's been here, but if he's surprised to see a classmate, he doesn't show it.]
After all, in all likelihood someone will soon start to panic, and we may learn what we need to know about the bracelets from that example. Let's not engage in unnecessary recklessness.

[ And anyone who heard that exchange is likely baffled, as the younger-looking boy skips over to the elder-looking one, swinging his stuffed rabbit around as he does so. Were Kyouya any of the other hosts Honey might hang off his arm or back, but since it's Kyouya, he refrains. ]
Ne, ne, is everyone else here, too? I found Takashi, but...

[ honey you only think that because you can take them all down easily...for normal people that's not the case...
but takashi and mituskuni in particular...capturing them... ]
Though, Usa-chan is also here, so that's good!
[ he knows you were worried about that yes ]

Let me see.

On my wrist, too! But, it's even weirder with Takashi here...
[ Who could manage to get both of them unawares? They're...sort of terrifying to deal with when it comes to fighting. ]
no subject
Yeah.
[With both of them, there's just no chance in hell. Which narrows it down slightly.]
Wasn't a battle...
[Knockout gas, maybe some kind of drugs...? He's not going to trouble Honey with his suspicions.]
no subject
That's just how his cousin is. ]
Noooooope. We'd have won that! So they did something sneaky...I don't like people who do things like that.
[ UNDERHANDED...Only Kyouya is allowed to be underhanded! ]

He also apparently seems entirely unfazed by this nerd child speaking to a stuffed rabbit. In fact, while he's rummaging in the next aisle over, he'll pitch his voice up to answer the question.]
The one with wrappers that look like strawberries! [A nice effort, but he's no Break and Emily...]
i don't even mind
But he definitely doesn't act it, so he gasps. ]
Ah, you're completely right! Strawberry flavor is my favorite flavor...Usa-chan, you're a genius!
[ ...........Honey, please. But he will skip over to get a few of those before peering under the shelves to see who actually talked to him... ]
excellent....
When Honey looks under the shelves, he'll see another nerd child crouching down, smiling brightly and waving one hand. In the other, Oz holds two lollipops.]
Those candies are really good. It's a choice you won't regret!

Honey waves back, though, a bright smile on his face even despite the circumstances. In his hands are - well, a bunch of strawberry-flavored candies that disappear into his pocket. ]
Tried them already, ne?

candy shop!
Aw, a cute kid with a stuffed rabbit! She assumes he's probably just a little older than her cousin Pearly, and several inches shorter than Maya. She's not using a baby voice, but her tone implies she's sorting you into the kid category, Honey. ]
Hi there! That's a cute rabbit you have there. You know, there's some real rabbits over by the mascot house.
[ pause ]
Um, though, you shouldn't give real rabbits candy, probably.
no subject
Eh?! There are? I didn't see them! Can we pet them, do you know?
[ Wow he's easily pleased... ]
no subject
Uh-huh! There's a bunch of baby bunnies, even. I'd think we can. I haven't seen anyone around that seems to actually work here say what we can and can't do, anyway.
[ The weirdo checking out the buns earlier clearly doesn't, she's mostly sure. Only mostly, though. ]

party at the candy shop, why not...
[Sheba calls from the other side of the store. She's holding two empty wrappers and there's a little bit of chocolate on her cheek, oops.]
One had some kind of fruit filling, and the other was filled with more chocolate. I'm not really sure how to tell which is which before biting into them, though!

[ IS IT STRAWBERRY...sparkling shoujo eyes ]

[HONEY IS IN LUCK... assuming there's more strawberry-flavored ones left. Which there are!! They're just mixed in with raspberry and caramel and chocolate...] They might have other kinds, too.

...Pardon me.
[ Is he interrupting a conversation? This kid is seriously talking to his stuffed rabbit... What a child. You know, in comparison to Mr. Mature Adult here, who makes a beeline for the candy with the highest amount of sugar to take for himself. ]

Eh? Oh, hello!
[ Stuffs more candy in his pockets ]

I did not realize someone else was in here. [ Which he says a little awkwardly ] Er... Was there someone else in here too?
