[You wake up in a temporary barracks set up behind an amusement park. The weather is chilly but pleasant, and there aren't any lines for the rides - in fact, it seems you have this place to yourself. The entire park appears to have been abandoned some years ago, and though everything is in working order, it is overgrown with plants and seems rusted and unsafe.

As for you, something has happened, though you aren't sure what. There's a throbbing pain in your head, and you can't focus, as though you're coming off heavy pain medications. However you think you should look, you look like a human now. Under the bandages wrapped around your temple, old and smelling like blood, you'll find a recently stitched up scar wound and the inability to focus on your memories. You have no knowledge of how you came to be here; you may even have forgotten certain aspects of your life, or feel confused about them. The fact of your missing memories is obvious, a dark blank spot. Under the bandages around your wrist, you'll find a brightly colored bracelet, decorated with the face of the smiling cartoon animal on your wall, embedded into your flesh. It beeps a merry tune and welcomes you to DreamLand Fun Park. Just then, a voice comes over the loudspeaker.]

"Good morning to all of our new guests! The park is now open! We'll get started later, but for now, have a magical day with your new friends! Oh, and there may be a few nasty side effects to your medical condition. If you meet someone having trouble adjusting to reality, please be polite!"

[In your room, you'll find a small box containing several personal items - no weapons, magical items, or technology advanced beyond the early 21st century, and nothing dangerous, but otherwise anything you would ordinarily find on your person is there. Of course, nothing with cell reception or internet connectivity can manage to pick up a signal.

If you swipe your bracelet against the steel door, it unlocks. You may now explore your accommodations, or venture out into the park.]

Ugh no and I haven't seen Pizzazz or the others around, so I'm guessing some creep thought it was a bright idea to kidnap only one of us. This whole place seems like some horror madhouse owned by some nerd who spends their life thinking they can get with a rockstar.

It really is curious, isn't it? I wonder what reason this... nerd... would have in capturing the rest of us lesser-famous victims, too. It definitely merits investigation.

What's better than writing a story about a famous rockstar escaping from her kidnappers? You'll be remembered forever and maybe even win some kinda newspaper award.

To tell the truth, my paper has always been criminally under-appreciated. Clearly there haven't been enough rockstar prison breaking stories to change that, but that changes now.

Pizzazz'll be glad to hear that! She's the one you really gotta impress you know? If she likes it, then everyone will.

Ayaya, would she be the head rockstar? And would you mind giving me a quick overview of your band and yourself?

Yeah, she's the leader. Her voice is awesome, she's awesome, and she plays guitar sometimes too. She and I get along the most.

[ At this point, it sounds more like she's fangirling over them rather than being a band member. ]

Roxy's tough, she's like a total badass, you know? Nobody messes with her and her bass. Stormer's wicked too. She's a lot quieter than the others and wears a flower in her hair, but she plays a mean keytar. Jetta's from England, plays the saxophone, and is the literal definition of ice cold. Her and Roxy get into arguments a lot. We all kick Jem and the Holograms' butts though.

As for me? I'm— [ She's glad that her wrist cymbals showed up in that box, because she has the opportunity to clashing them together to introduce herself properly. ] Clash!

Just call me Clash. I'm a rockstar not some kind of office worker, but I doubt any of us gonna find anything out just by going around and seeing old rides. This place is a dump, the real clues are probably hidden in an underground bunker... or even somewhere outside of her.

Clash, then. And I agree. I'm not sure what the purpose of these... machinations are, but I plan to be exploring this incident in full detail.

What kinda life would it be if a rockstar didn't live an awesome one? Lotsa stuff happens when you're famous.

Yeah! This might surprise you, but I'm also our band's videographer. I shoot almost all of our videos.

Anyway, there was this contest where we had to film a video in a never before seen place and... well, I knew exactly where to shoot: Aztec ruins. Brilliant idea, right? It was a great backdrop, though we did have a little issue with snakes and a cheetah at one point, but it turned out gnarly in the end. There was fire and everything! Definitely the coolest video we've made and way better than that Video Montgomery's Jem music videos.

A videographer? Amazing! It'd be nice if my camera has video capabilities, but it's all polaroids. A girl can dream...

But that's definitely impressive! I'd love to see that video in the future, if it's at all possible.
