day four - afternoon
![]() [As the day wears on into the afternoon, the dead aren't getting any deader. It's late in the afternoon, and the air is beginning to cool, when the chimes play again over the park loudspeaker. "All of us here at Dreamland wish you luck, guests! Let's meet up in the Hall of Mirrors!" Wherever you are, it's time to make your way over to the House of Horrors, where you'll have to brave the funhouse to find the room on the top floor. Don't delay, or your guest identification bracelet will begin beeping. The House of Mirrors is a large room, more than capable of fitting a crowd. Tall mirrors line every wall, and the door you entered through seems to vanish into a mirror as well. The mirrors give the impression that many, many more are among your number, standing in the background. In the back is a jar filled with blank raffle tickets. You'll have to take a ticket, write down a name, and place it back in the jar. Hopefully you already know who you're voting for, but if not, you only have time for a brief discussion before you're out of time. character statuses private conversations graveyard Voting will close at 11 PM EST on October 3. |

[ Even if one of them had asked him to, Kyouya would have made sure the powerhouses were going and he wasn't going to end up dead.
He's...Kyouya. ]
But...why would anyone who's dead have gone into the park alone at night? I think that part of things, at least, is odd about all of the murders.

[ WE ALL WOKE UP HERE. IT'S POSSIBLE. ]
What I want to know is why there haven't really been any signs of fighting back, aside from maybe one.

[ That would be weird. ]

We should try to do that as best we can.

[She hums a little.] I can't say I wouldn't leave if my door suddenly opened. Because what other chance would I get to look around at night, right? What if there was something important to see? ...but a lot of the people who have been killed are much less reckless than I am.
So then... there must have been some reason why they went, and some reason why they didn't leave a note for anyone on their way out. Even if he couldn't get your doors open, wouldn't he at least leave a note at your door to let you know he was wandering around?

But...I don't know if we can assume there isn't a way to run away, and I want to know why they've never tried that. Or at least why we haven't seen the signs of it.

I mean, there are ways of keeping people from moving where I come from, but none of them work here. [Meaning she's tried them? Okay then.] So unless there's some other way... Maybe it's something that only the VIPs have access to?

He must have been a very impressive fighter. [Or maybe the two people he was fighting were pulling their punches, THAT'S HAPPENED BEFORE...]

[ obviously they have guns. Stares at Dipper and Mahiru. ]

But if it were me, I wouldn't have shot his leg. I'd have just shot to kill. [If he's dodging, his leg is a more difficult target, anyway...]

[ ...but what ]
