dreamland day three 34 players remaining. There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing. The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker. "Rise and shine! Let's have a lot of fun and look for the bodies, too!" You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. [ Ciel glances her way curiously, but also doesn't press. It's not the time, for one, but he also doesn't particularly consider it his business. Mahiru had been very kind to him, as... many people here had been, actually, but ultimately, she was still little more than a stranger.

(Maybe that's why he's also frustrated with himself for feeling this way—Ciel hadn't cried at the funeral for his family, so why did this upset him?)

Instead, he just gives a soft nod. He's unsure how he would be able to do such a thing, because it wasn't as if he had Sebastian here to arrange every detail, and further still, there was hardly anything suitable to a proper funeral, but— ]

As much as I'd like to say the VIPs are our main focus to stopping this "game" at this point... even the Detonator could be giving keys to a VIP and we would still lose three people nearly every day. More if there's buddies and other roles involved.

The most we can do is find a way to stop this as soon as we possibly can...

[ He flinches when he takes the hand but it's better than letting her have it. His face ends up only turning greener because it's gross but he has to know for sure, so he inspects it, fingers trailing over the hand with probably more intimacy than one would expect from a friend. ]

I agree... It's fighting against the unseen that's the difficult part. I really have to wonder why anyone would agree to this at all.

Personally, I'd like to find whoever thinks it's a good idea to set off bombs in people in the middle of the day, even before the VIPs. At least they have the decency to do it at night.

Hm, yes, hasty accusations do seem to be something of a pastime here.

But won't you consider putting that back? Someone is going to get upset and start demanding we turn out our pockets again.

If the detective can find the Detonator, then we'll be in luck. If nobody uses their key today, then we'd have two people who haven't used their keys, but we'd still be stopping the Detonator from giving them out.

[ Except Ciel is very Not Amused by Nui's antics, though he's at least not barfing, so that's an improvement from earlier today, at least. ]
