As evening falls, the power in the park shuts off everywhere. The rides no longer work, the lights no longer operate, and whatever was guiding the VIPs has now been deactivated. Earlier than expected, this evening, comes the fireworks display over the lake, but tonight, even though you can make out red and gold, it looks more like a signal flare.

Over the loudspeaker, a voice speaks:

"Attention everyone! Thank you for your participation! We learned a lot of new things. But it looks like it's time to say goodbye, because your ride is here."

In the distance, you can see or hear some form of rescue. A friend coming to help, the police, the military, whoever you would most expect to see coming to help. They're still a ways off, so you have time to say your goodbyes.

You're safe now. That thing still in your head probably won't be a problem, right?

Wherever you are, it seems as though it's time to head into the Hall of Mirrors. The door is standing wide open, at least. Your bracelets aren't beeping today, though. Nothing is actually making you go in there.

So which is it? Will you still go in and participate in the trial? Or do you have other plans in mind?

There are no clocks in your dorm room to help you mark the passing of time, but at a certain point, in the early hours of the morning, a cheerful chime tune plays over the loudspeaker. Whether you're awake or asleep, the door to your dorm room is now unlocked. You'll have about a forty five minutes, in which you can get ready or grab some breakfast, before the door that allows you into the park unlocks. By this time, you may or may not have noticed that one of your number is missing.

Oh, there's one other thing this morning - your bracelets are no longer working. Fortunately, your rooms have all been left unlocked, as is the entrance to the park. Oh, and you still might not want to go near the fences; the automatic weapons in the guard towers are still a thing.

The chimes play again, to announce that the park is open, and the rides and music begin to come back to life as a voice plays over the loudspeaker.

"Congratulations to the tippy top ten! You made it!"

You will have until 4 PM to explore the park and talk amongst yourselves. Somewhere in the park, you'll find the body of Oz Vessalius.

"Attention guests! The park is now closing to the public for the evening. Please return to your dorms! Lights out will take place in one hour. Sweet dreams, everyone!

Everyone must exit the park and return to the accommodations area; anyone who lingers will hear their bracelet begin going off. After an hour, everyone must be inside their cabins, at which point the doors lock and the power shuts off.

But in the dark, a few of you are stirring. Some may be staying up late to help save you, but others have a different purpose...

"All of us here at Dreamland wish you luck, guests! Let's meet up in the Hall of Mirrors!"

Wherever you are, it's time to make your way over to the House of Horrors, where you'll have to brave the funhouse to find the room on the top floor. Don't delay, or your guest identification bracelet will begin beeping. The House of Mirrors is a large room, more than capable of fitting a crowd. Tall mirrors line every wall, and the door you entered through seems to vanish into a mirror as well. The mirrors give the impression that many, many more are among your number, standing in the background.

In the back is a jar filled with blank raffle tickets. You'll have to take a ticket, write down a name, and place it back in the jar. Hopefully you already know who you're voting for, but if not, you only have time for a brief discussion before you're out of time.

Through the tunnel, single cars on a track stop and wait for each remaining player to step on. Don't dawdle, or your bracelet will begin to beep a warning. Once in a car, the safety bar locks you tightly inside, unable to move.

The car trundles along a dark, twisting track, nearly veering into cartoonish obstacles, but veering away at the last moment. Music and cackling laughter echoes loudly through the ride as you drive faster and faster. Suddenly, your car veers off to the left, through a courtroom, where a towering cartoon judge threatens to bang a gavel. Your car jerks and evades, but somewhere, before one car can pass, the gavel comes down and the car spins off to the side, through a dark doorway.

Each car comes to the end of the ride, but doesn't stop, and instead jerks into motion and, even faster, veers through the ride a second time. This time, your car does not enter the courtroom, but the doors to your left nonetheless open, showing instead of a courtroom a red room burning with cartoon flames. Above the flames hangs a corpse in a noose.

The body of Patchouli Knowledge hangs from a red rope noose, as a cackling voices pronounces: Guilty
