[Okay, maybe Dipper's been eavesdropping a little on Mabel's conversation, and he wasn't going to say anything but she had to whip out the sticker book.]


...Mabel, I don't want to rain on your parade or anything but I don't think stickers are going to stop any murders. I mean, I'm preeeeeeetty sure no one is going to kill anyone in the first place, but if there is someone planning on it, I don't think stickers are going to be very effective.

[ineptus]

Ooohhhh really? [You can just hear the smug tone in her voice.]

Because I already have a ton of people promising not to kill for these stickers! They're golden, Dipper! If we wanted, we could probably sell them and make millions. I think that's a better plan than Grunkle Stan has ever had!

But right now you have to not kill to get a sticker. And since I knooooow you won't be killing anyone...

[You know what this means, Dipper.]

Okay, but a ton of people isn't everyone. There could easily be one guy you haven't met yet lurking around, getting ready to kill. And one guy is all it would take for something really bad to happen. [He's not going to oppose to a sticker, because he already knows it's futile.]

[ineptus]

We will just have to talk to everyone then. Make sure every single person promises!

I guess we could try, but I still don't think a bunch of stickers is going to help.

[ineptus]

[And a SLAP of a sticker to your face, Dipper! It is a bee and reads, predictably,]

[He peels the sticker off his face and sighs, taking his journal out to stick the sticker to the back-inside cover.]

I'm just saying Mabel, there are some really suspicious and scary-looking people here who probably won't take you seriously.

[ineptus]

Well maybe we should...

[And a SLAP of a sticker to the other side! This one has a pug sitting on it and is heart shaped, reading-]

Pug It Out then!

[terci]

I'm being serious, Mabel! [That being said as he peels this one off as well and sticks it next to the other one.]

[ineptus]

BWOOP! [And one to the forehead! This one has a seal on it, stating that-]

You're Seally, Dipper! And look, now we match!

[Because she has not removed Kuzuryuu's Tou-Can Do It! sticker from her forehead yet.]

[Yes he noticed the sticker on her forehead, and he chose not to bring it up because he knows better.]

Mabel! [How many times has he yelled at her today?]

[Laughing, she closes her sticker book.]

Look, at least I'm trying, right?

[He sighs]

Sorry. [He's just grumpy and not having your cute sticker fun because he's worried, that's all.]

[ineptus]

[Giving his arm a gentle punch, she smiles.]

It's okay Dipper. I know you're just all bothered about all this. But if you stay all twisted up like this nothing's going to get done, y'know?

Yeah, yeah... [He rubs his arm where she punched it.]

I'm not trying to let it get to me, but I just can't help thinking about it.

[ineptus]

Well...stop getting down about it! Think about all the fun we can have while we're here! We'll do all our investigating, but we'll enjoy the rides and food and stuff too, okay?

[Smiling, she bumps his shoulder with hers.]

I think someoone needs a ride on the teeaacuuuuuups!

[terci]

I dunno Mabel, I investigated those rides pretty thoroughly, and they didn't really seem safe to ride...

[ineptus]

I rode them all!

[terci]

[He smacks his forehead.]

Mabel, you can't just go around and ride suspicious looking rides, especially at an amusement park that has trees growing into the roller coasters!

[ineptus]

They looked pretty safe to me. Plus, people had already ridden them before! I got to ride them with all of these really nice people! I really think you should give them a try. Don't judge a roller coaster by the trees that grow on them Dipper.

[terci]

Even rides at normal amusement parks aren't safe! You could've been killed!

[ineptus]

Buuut I wasn't! [Grin!]

Dipper calm down. Technically everything could be dangerous, but that doesn't stop us from leaving the Mystery Shack every day! I mean come on, even a relationship with a short little kid almost killed us. I'm not going to be worried about amusement parks after that.

But still! The only reason we haven't died yet is because we've been able to figure out how to get past those things! Old broken down amusement park rides could malfunction at any moment, it's entirely up to chance!

[ineptus]

Okay. Dipper? I don't think any of them are going to malfunction. These people aren't going to have much of a "game" if we all die on their amusement park rides, right? So we're good!

[terci]

[He heaves a very big sigh.]

Alright, alright. I guess you have a point there.

Just.. promise me you won't go around and ride or mess with things that even look a little dangerous, okay?
