There isn't much to understand. Koizumi and I had a conversation yesterday evening about personal matters. She was kind enough to write a letter about some of what we'd spoken about. It's a gesture I appreciate, and I'm honored she thought to write to me as well as to her classmates.

I only wish we had gotten to know one another better. That's all.
