It's late in the afternoon, and the air is beginning to cool, when the chimes play again over the park loudspeaker. "All of us here at Dreamland wish you luck, guests! Let's meet up in the Hall of Mirrors!" Wherever you are, it's time to make your way over to the House of Horrors, where you'll have to brave the funhouse to find the room on the top floor. Don't delay, or your guest identification bracelet will begin beeping. The House of Mirrors is a large room, more than capable of fitting a crowd. Tall mirrors line every wall, and the door you entered through seems to vanish into a mirror as well. The mirrors give the impression that many, many more are among your number, standing in the background. In the back is a jar filled with blank raffle tickets. You'll have to take a ticket, write down a name, and place it back in the jar. The oath I first swore here was to protect and defend all those trapped within this 'game'. To fail to do so and to contribute to their harm... would be intolerable.

I have to agree. She makes a decent argument, but I think it's in our best interest to execute her. There's at least a better chance she's VIP in my mind than Legion.

That's what I believe as well.

Because it's a one-shot deal. Right now, when trust in Missile is strongest, he can be used to get a false execution. However, when he is wrong, the majority of those here - possibly not you - would chalk it up to an innocent mistake. He is a dog; it was a mistake. We did not truly understand his intent.

He would not be trusted again, but it is a single bullet. There were whispers yesterday that if there was no other suspect today, Legion would still have been executed, as the veracity of that note was uncertain. Someone else still needed to die.

That would necessarily be what Missile would need to say... regardless of the truth. It is only if he failed to check Levi that my hypothesis would be incorrect. But I find it hard to believe that he would not.

It was unanimously believed that Missile was the detective... because it truly did make logical sense. They know that every day that passed without identifying a VIP would be dangerous - do you think it so unlikely that they would have investigated somebody else in the hopes of finding a real VIP?

A dog may show patience beyond any possessed by a human. It is possible for a dog to wait in a solitary position for an entire day, if you so willed it! A dog that is friendly may approach, but a dog who is wary may hide and only slowly allow himself to be lured out.

Please don't be so concerned... It's necessary that someone has to die here tonight, after all. If it will save a day of conversion, then... I would rather it be me than another innocent. The duty of a knight is to protect and to defend... and to make the sacrifices that are necessary.

[Edea will bow stiffly before she sits. She'll reach up to her head to remove her ribbon, her hair rolling down conveniently over her eyes.
